Dunno if it was a response to the feedback or you just doing it, but the scrolling rather than clicking around the map is so good for orienting myself and where people are. Thank you for streaming these they're awesome fun to watch in Petra bloody Jordan while learning about history and Abbasids and Ottomans and stuff. No Nabataeans in AOE yet.
I believe Marine Lord should've been able to use the extra space. Gua left because of Blade, so he does get the points for the kill, but he did not kill the king and therefore was still in play and taken because of Marine Lord, the game recognized that he killed it and awarded him the extra pop. It's unfortunate, but Marine Lord did win on that technicality in his favor and shouldn't be punished because of it.
The way i could see avely win this was actually doing 2 things. Push with castles (he had a lot of stone saved). These could have kept the mangonels at bay and force marinelord to make bombards/trebs. And while he holds a front with the castles, towards the end of the game, acrually just ignore the wonder and try to sneak 10 bombards down to snipe the king. (10 bombards shud be enough to 1 hit blast wall and keep) While Marinelords army is busy holding back the push that is seemingly going for the wonder.

Yes it's happened during OO2 in a previous game, beasty surrendered to the 2 barbicans and the player picked up the king when he popped out. It's a oversight sadly by blade55555 to only look at the visual icon and not look at the pile of vils. Him going back later and saying he doesn't see it was funny, since ml killed it lol. It was a lesson learned I guess, and also well sportsman of ml for not using the pop just in case.
A great game overall! King mishaps aside it was a really big thing that marine lord had all of the sacred sites for that long. If those had been contested earlier perhaps the late game plays out differently.
I wonder if the players look at the replay because games after games Drongo states that it's ok to 2v1 or even 3v1 at some point if one player like MarineLord in this one has a big advantage, but they never ever do it.

I'd really like to see an eye tracker. Especially in these octagon matches. You're so lost in the casting and probably checking mats/minimap missing the plays happening right infront of your yes. Should make a rule that you can't kill the king of a surrendered player unless it's pretty obvious you would have got it. Also can kings be wololo'd? You could also play a prank on Salami and it so his king is the only king wololo-able as Salami is the wololo king.

GUA could have waited a few seconds and would have been taken out normaly, he could also just taken the king out of the TC and loose. But he PURPOSELY sabotaged the game in his last seconds by surrendering. That was just bad sportmanship, don't let him play in your tournaments... That should be a punishment for him...
I think it’s mad that a whole video was made to penalise 3d bee then GUA clearly breaks the rules with no penalty and marine lord takes advantage of a bug which won him the game, 50 pop is a massive advantage when you’re counting elephants and mangos
Except Marinelord didn't use the advantage. There was only one moment I noticed where he had 356 instead of 350, but he realized his mistake and made sure he didn't have extra houses. I might have missed another moment, but he was never at the pop that GUA's king gave him for any prolonged period of time. So really it ended up being a disadvantage since he couldn't build extra houses.
problem with that is people build additional housing so if there houses are destroyed they don't loose pop cap. ML killed 4 kings one of which he shouldn't have. Averly only killed 2 kings.

The way I would've solved this issue is by asking ML to make 50 vills and put them in a wall in a corner.
Well towards the end he used his full 350 pop when it only should have been 300, there was a point when it was 360 pop
And 22 afk scholars during the late game

You can. ML got the kill and the pop space. even though it technically should have been Blades.
