Based on a poem by Li Qingzhao, Crimson Lips depicts the daily lives of women in their boudoirs. The central figure is a woman in her mid-20s, captured in her private boudoir. She's gracefully applying makeup, a symbol of her femininity and poise. Her outfit is adorned with elements that connect to the themes of Earth: the pink lotus on her dress, flower engravings on the mirror, and a matching lotus headpiece. The artwork conveys a sense of timelessness and a deep connection to the rhythms of nature, celebrating the beauty and strength found in the simplicity of everyday moments.
