- Udon and Soba vending machine. I filmed this vending machine at Auto Restaurant Tekken Taro. The Udon with tempura was 300yen(about 3USD). The vending machine sells udon and soba, but the day sold only udon. Some time ago there were many types of hot menu vending machine, but now these type of vending machines are rare.

America would explode if we had Japanese vending machines. I LOVE IT.
Wow, I'd get a Clorox wipe and clean that door first.
Still better than anything I could make...
Having it come out without a lid is kinda off putting.. But maybe after every dispatch, the inside chamber gets rinsed down or something? Cause the bowl and the general area is wet.
I think it might be the soup.
Japan's best vending machine. A classic!
ya,classic vending machine;)
Noooooo lid...... Ugh!!!!! Please be careful, we don't want you to get sick.
thank you for your kindness;)
Ma Maw wow, thank you! you're best my friends;)
If the udon is coming out of the machine with no lid on it, wouldn't the bacteria from the last udon bowl be on the flap as you took it out?
That's what I was worried about, too! O_O
Yes,I agree.
It's look like waterd uncooked udon
While the udon noodels themselves look like the tastiest thing I've ever seen coming out of a vending machine, the "no lid" issue is indeed a bit concerning
i love these videos so much
懐かしい・・・もう無いんだっけ。そこそこデカいゲームセンターには必ずとあったよなぁ。何気に上手いしよく食べてた
That is so satisfying for some reason..Even though it's just you walking up to as vending machine, comparing it and then eating it.
Dont worry guys! The description says this was filmed inside a restaurant that sounds like it has many vending machines, so chances are the flap and the food are hygenic! ^v^
Chances are they don't clean it every time someone orders food..
Jenny Ke Yes but I would suspect it is kept fairly clean. The flap has only made contact with the same sort of food after all.
By your logic, you're meaning that since airplanes have lots of seats, it would be kept hygenic
Jenny Ke By my logic, the vending machine is kept hygenic by the workers there and the flap touching a bowl of udon noodles probably has the same effect as a restruant using the same spoon to put pasta sauce on different plates of spaghetti.
Yeah, the difference being the thing is constantly being used, while the other practically has time to dry off and let bacteria grow on it
Thank you for taking the time to show us a classic machine. It probably tasted well but I agree with the other comments; please be careful. It doesn't look too sanitary. Rusty metal and all...
great video i love seeing what intresting vending machines are in japan. your videos will be very helpful because i may go to japan some time. Keep up the great work you have a new subscriber.
you could put the camera down for awhile we dont want you to get sick
It's kind of yucky that the food touched the venting machine on the way out. But I'd still eat it!
A vending machine that actually cooks your noodles for you? Man I'm jealous of the people that live in Japan..
Plot twists: The guy eating is actually caeser, reborn and if he ever thumbs down a vending machine the entire business will be magically executed by a rampaging league of lions.
There's no way I'd trust that food.
haha;)
Oh dear.....there's no lid......
i believe japan has the safest fast food :D
With that vending machine it must have been a Yolo moment when you ate it with the way it was dispensed
0:54 that timing
I was so afraid you'd drop your udon. I thought it would have been very hot to hold with one hand. I have quite sensitive hand however. You seemed to enjoy it ^-^ What is your favourite flavour?
That looks super shady....
I REALLY hope they clean that machine everyday
+rebecca kenyon they do.
コイン入る音いいな
Please don't get sick -3-
seems super unsanitary
your right little kitty
Only the ¥100 & ¥500 coins are accepted at that udon/soba vending machine.
Please be careful while eating those food you don't know if they're safe or not, but this one is not safe. There's no lid and I don't want you to get sick.
thank you for your kindness;)
It's look like uncooked overcooked udon
Oishii Soba Udon! watashi wa udon de suki desu
I love udon but"that"udon look like an octopus without lid.
cocroches settled in the box!
Isn't this machine that one on nhk show?
What are the ingredients of "udon"?
It looks good, but not easy with one hand... ;) :))
It’s easy if you know how to use chopsticks NOT InSuLtInG

Very unsanitary
o_o did the tempura even taste like tempura?
yes;)
wasn't it soggy ? O_O
What was sitting on top of the udon? Egg or some kind of meat?
+テスラ
The onions and carrots entwined in flour, fried in oil.
Vegetable tempura.

When the tempura is immersed in liquid like what we see in the video, does it become soggy? Is it supposed to be soggy?
+Tesla
The bread is like soaked in soup.
Soggy does not.
Tornado Milky so the tempura is not supposed to be crunchy? Isn't tempura usually crunchy?
Draw something?
