Hey, just wanted to say thanks for posting this. It helped me troubleshoot the fuser error on my printer quickly, and sure enough, the fuser heater was smoked good and proper. You saved me a bunch of time. So thanks!
I'm glad it helped out. I replace the fuser heater in this model at least 50-60 times a year, we have over 500 of this model in our company. It took me forever to figure out some of the issues and I am glad it helped someone.
@@thecomputerdude7497 I only have a couple of these devils, and the replacement fuser assembly costs about as much as the whole printer. Ridiculous. A $15 heating element and 20 minutes of my time is a great solution. Sounds like you probably buy them in bulk. Lol.
buen video, pero me ha sorprendido la forma en que colocas la grasa, esta debería ir aplicada sobre el elemento calefactor, bien extendida y una vez limpio dicho elemento, esta parte es la que mas fricción hace sobre el rodillo de caucho de presión, por lo que debe ser lubricada con una grasa de silicona de alta temperatura, por ejemplo: Chemplex 710 silicone compound
I disassembled the fuser components to reassemble is what difficult for me, most especially the part with 5 cable unit that are colored purpose, green, yellow, grey and brown.
Hold the end in your right hand with the spring assembly to the left. Look for the tabs that should hold the cable. When routed the cable should look like an S. The cable starts from the presence board around the bottom of the roller. We then wrap the cable around retaining pin to the right follow between channels then follow up to the last retaining pin near the top of the assembly side.
