You wouldn’t be on the hook for the guaranteed money and be able to cut him free of cost in the off-season
I say DT Lawrence #97 would fit in well in Minnesota - the Defense would be even scarier SKOL - I hope we can get him
Plus he's young enough you can get quite a few more good years out of him. Vikings are finding out that you win with defense and we still need that so called "stud" on the line I'd go for it. You can even upgrade the D in the next few drafts.
He would be nice to have but it wont happen. They just paid Harrison Phillips.

If the vikings were to go after Lattimore I would expect a contract restructure. Otherwise it wouldn't make sense

I like where we sit on defense but if I could trade for another weapon to future proof Vikings, I would like to see Vikings get a safety like Fred Warner.

Dexter Lawrence would be my #1. Just continue to help solidify the run game and he would EAT in B-Flo's blitz schemes. Dex is underrated for his pash rush. Next target would be Dotson to bolster out offense line - the trenches win championships & then lastly, I'd go Lattimore. I don't have the most faith in Murphy Jr tbh. Dude plays s-a-w-f-t in a pass heavy league.

The Pack is set to be destroyed by the Purple Haze, After all, can someone tell me who the pack beat? They got destroyed by the Eagles, and beat the Colts and the Titans. Sorry, but their stats are made of bad teams. Titans are the worst team in the league, the Colts are ranked 24th. Now the Eagles are ranked 5th, but the Packers got demolished by them. What basis do we have the the Packers are as good as some think?

Need a top 10 center that won't be pushed back into the QBs lap. Possibly a RG too.
Dexter would be the best option. A good D lineman can shut down the run, but also make your secondary look better by cutting time in pocket allowed.

They could save money, by replacing bradbury with a cardboard cutout, and it would protect the qb a lil better
We’re not doing a good enough job protecting Darnold. It’s great that he’s adapted, but we can’t expect him to do that all year. He needs more time to work. We need to strengthen the O line, if we wanna make it to the big game

None don’t f up the chemistry
Contracts really don’t matter is with marathon lattimore. When traded the guaranteed money is void after trade and they would be able to cut him after the season. You can even go over cap after season starts to pay players like lattimore. It’s something you do when you feel like you have a shot at a championship.
There is some
Cases where you’ll get a cap penalty after cutting after the season but it would be minimal, like a mil or 2
