The ending more than made up for the shock value of the balloon and the twist of the truth of the events that time, it was really wholesome and both became honest with themselves and to each other thanks to events like that and the ferris wheel. Plus Selena keeping the necklace Daisuke bought for her after the first date all the way to the end was so beautiful and amazing to see, it really showed just how much she loved Daisuki and wanted to truly be with him.

That might be true in real life but not fiction. In reality you only see one side of the story and think the girl is a pure bitch but here you(and the MC both) see a fair amount of story of the other side so naturally you start to have some sympathy for them and soften.
If you actually watched, she was the one easily manipulated by her friends. If she was so toxic, she wouldn't try to refuse him being too giving. Yes, it started in a terrible manner, but at the end they started a healthy new relationship.

Hmm... I think this MC is pretty interesting in terms of his thoughts. As for the FMC, she seems way too airheaded in creating a believable "fake confession". Although what she did was still wrong in terms of playing with a guy's feelings, It seems that she was indeed sincere in her apology and it takes lots of courage to own up to your mistakes. As they spend more time together, she grew to see the MC for his strengths and began respecting that about him, eventually falling in love with him. Breaking up with her was a good way to bring her to her senses on her errors and it allowed her to properly understand her feelings.

Honestly, I have strongly mixed feelings about Daisuke. It's one thing to get back at a girl for asking you out as a prank. It's another thing to pop a little kid's balloon just because you can. Yes, he gave her more balloons right after, but that still doesn't excuse making the poor kid cry harder. If there's one thing you never do, it's make kids cry, especially if you get a laugh out of it. Whether or not you make up for it right after, it still makes you a terrible person in my book. I can only hope that Selena makes him a better person as time goes on.
Morality is over-rated; when kids keep running in a wedding party and being annoying by giving you an angry look because they want to for some reason, it's funny to trip them down because they are annoying.
When Daisuke broke that child’s balloon I was hoping for karmic justice against him. I mean who does that to a little kid? But when Selena revealed what she saw happen between him and the little girl, I immediately retracted my earlier opinion.

Honestly, I have strongly mixed feelings about Daisuke. It's one thing to get back at a girl for asking you out as a prank. It's another thing to pop a little kid's balloon just because you can. Yes, he gave her more balloons right after, but that still doesn't excuse making the poor kid cry harder. If there's one thing you never do, it's make kids cry, especially if you get a laugh out of it. Whether or not you make up for it right after, it still makes you a terrible person in my book. I can only hope that Selena makes him a better person as time goes on.
Morality is over-rated; when kids keep running in a wedding party and being annoying by giving you an angry look because they want to for some reason, it's funny to trip them down because they are annoying.
This is probably my favorite mc and fmc they both had bad intentions but started to care for the other person and both made some sacrifices
