Been practicing learning sight lines and good advantageous positions to hang around as medic so I don’t have to Uber to stay alive and not waste it, great information thanks! Also Tuned into the newbie 6s stream last night it was cool to see you casting great job 👍
I was zoned out while this played in the background, and got so confused when you said "milked" because I thought you meant mad milk instead of comp lingo despite milk being banned 😭
Does the soldier at 0:55 have the liberty launcher? Am I tripping? I like to fuck around with but like you said in your damage thresholds video you really have a narrow window to bomb where the extra rocket might not come out nor does a new bomb route help because you won't drop med. He has gunboats is he trying to market garden himXD
this may be related to previous videos on comms but can you do a video explaining how to be a good teammate for your medic? i've frequently had to deal with nonsense in pugs where people don't say what theyre trying to do and just expect me to know what the plan is or to be able to see what they see, never check to make sure i'm with them, where i'll get knocked back or be dodging spam or have to save another teammate and then someone gets caught because of it, and of course the classic people who call medic, stand still for just long enough for me to pull out the bow, and then move out the way of the bow. basically people can't comprehend that the medic isn't an omniscient, mind-reading being who can be five places at once and see the future i notice such a massive difference in games where I play with combo members who actually make some attempt to maincall and make it clear what they want to do as opposed to games where my pocket scout plays without a HUD and is silent all game except when something inevitably doesn't go their way and then they immediately look for someone to blame
Maybe I don't know comp meta well enough but as a pub medic I live taking high ground because it just makes it easier to dodge spam and monitor my teams health. For example on snakewater second as defense I'd be standing on those logs you were standing behind a lot of the time, is there any particular reason you don't stand on them? I feel like with the big wall there it doesn't give any extra cover and instead just restricts your range of movement.
Like especially around 15:00, if you took a few seconds to rotate around to stand on the logs you'd be in medibeam range of your soldier and scout on the hugh ground, it'd be easier to land crossbows, and it helps your situational awareness, all the while there's still a wall in front of you and if anyone runs at you from the right side or bombs you from above you have the choice to jump to either side of the logs which makes it harder for them to lead their shots.
@cyancookie1937 a sniper can shoot your feet if you stand on those logs iirc. I guess it's fine to play on there if you know for sure there's no sniper
this medic gameplay is highly questionable
2:48 advanced medic tactic where you call out the enemies uber instead of your own
12:12 that was no accident, it was a brilliant play. The enemy team were so perplexed by your pop that they didn't notice your scout on last.
FIVE DROPS?!?! Surely after making this video it’ll be zero for future rumpus games?
As a Medic main my philosophy regarding ubers is the opposite of "pop it, don't drop it"

Do you like the dream? Do you like to scream?

I thought that its considered a crutch weapon

Simple, don't play medic. *(I am better at medic then you and I always will be. NEVER cross me. My Ego ain't Dead yet.)*
I’m just gunna believe that people redeemed lie to your team on your stream during this match

I somehow press the button frames too late way too often. I don't really understand the science behind it
