- Two of the strongest youngsters of the 30th Abu Dhabi Masters, IM Divya Deshmukh (IND, 2472) and GM Yagiz Kaan Erdogmus (TUR, 2599) were pitted against each other in the fourth round. It was seeming as if Yagiz Kaan was building on his advantage until something happened that changed the result of the game. Watch the video to see what happened.

Not the first time for Divya, or for that matter, for most multiple time champions. They are usually extremely resourceful though this had a fair slice of fortune, especially considering the hugely talented prodigy she was up against...

Instead of Bf3 here Bh5 is winning. Now we need to understand why. First after Bf3 or Bh5 white can't move her knight to a4 due to b2 check and ultimate Be4(in case Bf3) or (Bg6 in case of Bh5). The problem with Bf3 is after kb1 black doesn't have the option of Be4 as knight is controlling the square. But in case of Bh5,kb1 is not working because of Bg6. Now the next question should be after Bh5 why not f5 first to stop Bg6 and then Kb1? The reason is after f5 black will play Bf7 and take the important c4 pawn which he can't take by putting his bishop to f3.
Obviously it is deep even for grandmaster with so less time in clock. I guess with more time he may able to find it.

In place if BF3 move should be Bc2 to cut off king from B1.. then irrespective of White's move black to play a2 then b2 check and then b1 queens.. if knight take then a1 queens After bc2 White's moves don't matter

In case Bc2 white will play na4 attacking the c5 pawn,if kd6 then f5 pawn push will force the black king to deflect to king side and white will grab c5 pawn and then sacrifice her knight on b3.
