With rearguard on both HQs, I got no losses on Uranus on hard. For Starlingard front, you can encircle the motorized division easily with reargard near the bridge. For Southwestern front, on the first turn, use two weaker infrantry units to bait German panzers with rearguard. I used the infantries with sapper and ski near Kletskaya. Make sure you have enough space for their retreat. If the frontline has no other weak units, the Romanian panzer will go back to Chir river, leaving Liska river empty. With at least one artillery next to Chir river at the end of turn two, it is possible to take Chir river on turn 3 with no losses.
For Little Saturn, if you can clear the front near Bokovskaya fast enough (in my case I used one artillery card and take Bokovskaya on turn 1), the 1st guards motorized division can reach the hex west of Tatsinskaya on turn 3, blocking all supply to the east.
Oh no, Abganerovo returns! Tell me, has it appearead in your dreams yet? :D Sounds like another quality DLC for UoC II. And another quality doodle video to crack it. Thank you for making these, always looking forward to it! Now, I just need to actually make it through Moscow 41 to enjoy this DLC in the "correct" order. Would you say that Don 42 is easier than Moscow 41?
I have a feeling it's the last time we see Abganerovo in this game 😅 Moscow 41 is definitely more hardcore. It's actually the only campaign I haven't completed on hard (yet to see anyone 100% finish Defence of Moscow at that difficulty), but it's certainly playable on classic!
@@Hexaboo Got 100% finish on Defence of Moscow on hard, but I used one artillery card. With some 203 B4s, I wiped out 3 panzer divisions and took Klin on turn 1, which seems to be the hardes objective with normal appproach. Other objectives can be acheived as in your previous video.
@@Lancewin36 Yeah, Artillery Prep is really a valuable asset there, although I had more trouble dealing with the Naro-Fominsk/Mozhaysk area. Still wondering if it's doable on Hard without any purchased cards. 😅
@@Hexaboo Even with the card, I take Mozhaysk on turn 5. I take Klin on turn 1 but lost later, finally retake it on turn 5. The direct approach to Mozhaysk seems impossible without cards. You don't have enough rescoures near that objective, since the primiary goal is to destroy the panzer divisions around Naro-Fominsk. Maybe sacrificing more units will help. In my run, I was always thinking of minimizing losses.

Yep, good success at Bokovskaya enables these deep advances, I did something similar for the post-release replay version of the DLC :)
