Very good initiative, really appreciate, a very progressive move. My daughter learnt Marathi, I tried earlier but your speech has inspired me to put serious efforts, this will help her also. I was in Jakarta for 2 years and learnt Bahasa Indonesia, as you rightly said there were less options, here due to convenience of hindi I lacked in my efforts. As far as clarification is concerned one can take it as having frequent dialogues to clear the air and to avoid any over or under communication. Best wishes for upcoming elections, just because you clarified so well and honestly, the attempt from Bihari and UP people will be incomplete if you not make MNS's each worker listen to your this speech clearly and understand the philosophy behind. But do you know how difficult for the corporates to have confidence in these states due to law and order situation there. If a government offers subsidy and free housing to slum dwellers, then more homeless people will come into the state, and anarchy will prevail. This phenomenon is repeating at many a places in the US also, where the state of California, esp. Los Angeles, is facing a homelessness crisis, due to many homeless people coming into the state from outside, and then living on tents on streets! Rather than giving homes, immigrants should be taught some vocational trade and trained in some economic activity. Means should be created so that they can contribute to the local economy. Also, to add, educated and hard working immigrants are better for the state in which they go to. So rather than seeing all immigrants from the same glass, they should be segregated into different groups. This should be there for all the states of India, not just Maharashtra. Delhi is also facing a crisis due to many people coming in from adjoining states and then building slums in outer areas, which have now become notorious for crimes and other unsocial activities.

But do you know how difficult for the corporates to have confidence in these states due to law and order situation there.
Therefore the state government has to give the assurance that come and do the business with us that's why it's a duty of people to choose a political leadership which brings development in their state.
@@milsar1972 My friend u dont have complete information. Pre 1947 all big business were in central and east India (like Dalmias, Tata's and GOI uner the British), producing steel and other minerals. What changed in the 1950s is FEP(Freight eq policy). this is one of the major reasons for the downfall of states like Bihar and Jharkhand. this was daylight loot and plunder on these states. please read about it to know more and then you will see why industries are not set up in the hinterland(even in Maharashtra industries are not set up in Vidharbha region_. Further its wrong to say that no industry is coming in U{/Bihar. Do you know that Samsung's largest factory in the world is recently setup in UP?

Most of what Raj Thackeray has said is correct and logical. If a government offers subsidy and free housing to slum dwellers, then more homeless people will come into the state, and anarchy will prevail. This phenomenon is repeating at many a places in the US also, where the state of California, esp. Los Angeles, is facing a homelessness crisis, due to many homeless people coming into the state from outside, and then living on tents on streets!
Rather than giving homes, immigrants should be taught some vocational trade and trained in some economic activity. Means should be created so that they can contribute to the local economy. Also, to add, educated and hard working immigrants are better for the state in which they go to. So rather than seeing all immigrants from the same glass, they should be segregated into different groups. This should be there for all the states of India, not just Maharashtra. Delhi is also facing a crisis due to many people coming in from adjoining states and then building slums in outer areas, which have now become notorious for crimes and other unsocial activities.

idealism does not work in Real world , uncontrolled migration puts too much pressure on cities existing infrastructure , when Indians move to Western countries they are always picked and choosen carefully based on their skill set and how much they can contribute to the local economy.. Migrating to another place and building slum in between of city is not fair to the pre existing population who work hard and pay their taxes.

I am marathi i am doing Job in bengaluru i started learning kannada little slowly i will became fluent speakers in few years, Marathis are very liberal they accept other people and care about other culture also so when they go to work in other states they learn that language and respect local culture.
