    So Alpi had two triple doubles last season and 29 double doubles. It gets more fun if you dig deeper.. 14 of these double doubles with:
    • 7 assists: 5 games
    • 8 assists: 6 games
    • 9 assists: 3 games
    🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ imagine if the boy had real shooters around..

    Senhub is finally back we been wanting this for years but Slias didn’t want to or had no idea how to use Sengun and Ime was using him for post ups and on the elbow.
    Using Sengun to run the offense at the top of the key is perfect because if guys are cutting he can fine them with his passing and if guys double him he can find guys at the perimeter for the wide open three and obviously he can get his own shots.
    Ime is using Sengun skillsets and taking advantage of the athletic guys we have on this team and it’s great to see.
    If Ime continues to use Senhub so to speak our offense is going to be so deadly

    At this point, if any ‘rocket fan’ keeps talking about trading, ‘consolidating assets’, or star hunting for Giannis or anyone like that, you aren’t a fan
    The Rockets are literally building a dynasty built on the Core 7. These dudes aren’t even 23 years old yet.
    We’re about to go on an Astros level run

    • @FatLadyKiller
      @FatLadyKiller 7 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      You nailed it. I don’t think we need to get rid of ANYONE right now. No trades, no consolidating, no expensive “stars.” We have a solid unit thats working well together with a defense that’s just slaying teams. If we stay healthy we are contenders. They say the sky is the limit, well not for a ROCKET! 🚀

    • @Fetemart
      @Fetemart 4 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +2

      The difference is the NBA has a salary cap. I can't see the Rockets being able to pay all 7 players, plus there really isn't enough minutes for all seven. They can't keep sending players like Cam Whitmore to the G league when he can start on about half the other teams in the league. They can sit tight for now, but by next year trades and consolidation will need to be made.

    • @clutchcitystreets3368

      @Jf FACTS! The “trade for KD or Giannis talk is crazy”. To your point the similarities between the Astros and Rockets as far as home grown talent is enough to give you goosebumps. Green, Sengun, Smith, Eason, Amen, Cam, and most recently Sheppard…………. Marc Stein “the Rockets should trade for” these nuts! We good over here, he needs to stay out of Houston business 💯💯🤘🏼🤘🏼

    • @Jfsgknd
      @Jfsgknd 3 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +2

      @@Fetemart the rockets have the bird rights for their players. New CBA wants teams to pay their drafted players. The idea of trading away multiple ‘starters’ for another player from another team makes no sense. Fred, Dillion, and Adams are 30 years old. They’re not going to be taking minutes in 2 seasons. Nothing points to having to trade anyone. This is all low level media talk. No one is saying the Thunder have to trade away all their players. No one is saying the Cavs have to trade away their players. They’re saying this about the Rockets because that’s what they want the Rockets to do

    • @Fetemart
      @Fetemart 3 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@Jfsgknd The CBA does allow you to retain players you draft, but it did not anticipate SEVEN players of top five lottery caliber for any single team. Even with Bird's rights, giving all of the remaining players contracts similar to JG's contract ($35M/yr) puts them at over $200 million. Waaaaaay over the second apron. And that assumes you sign NO ONE else on the team. It's just not realistic. At some point they will have to start paring down and consolidating.

    Last night in the third quarter it hit me like a ton of bricks that this is a good team. We've havent had that in years....like, years n years. Then Ryan said it n i got kinda emotional, ngl. We have a few things working in our favor to start the season, namely our health and roster continuity. However, we also have the ability to completely transform and emerge in a way that no other team in our position can due to the youth and natural progression of our guys throughout the year. Tremendously exciting

    • @FatLadyKiller
      @FatLadyKiller 7 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      I agree. If we keep this up we will easily have the best defense in the league. When our offense is on point it’s dangerous but it’s a bit uneven. I like how it’s shared and isn’t just one dude all the time like it was with Harden. On different nights different players can step up. We get a few too many shot clock violations and missed free throws than I would like but those aren’t huge issues.. everything else is looking great.

      You know I was thinking about this very thing.The other day. These trends last for about 15ish years and then something that comes along to break that trend. Then teams pile on to copy the new trend. In the rocket's case, team basketball with a big man hub. Voracious team rebounding.

      @@blaineindemaio696 I hope it works out for Rockets because the 3 point percentage has been really bad for Rockets anyway. But I don't think spamming threes will go away unless there's a rule change. Now some top teams seem to actually rush to spam a three within 10-15 seconds of play, trying to increase their number of attacks per game at the expense of giving more number of attacks to the opposing team while trying to stop them from making as many threes.

Green taking shots in turn in a your turn-my turn style street basketball games to displaying systematic and quality showcases worked out and executed according to a plan. Jalen’s mentality is shifting as he realizes he needs to impact the game beyond just scoring. However, team play doesn’t come naturally to him. Growing up as the star, always being told he’s the best, and taking all the shots made adjusting to an NBA playoff contender tough. Last night, we saw smart, beautiful basketball, and Jalen looked average, not like a $35 million player. Let’s focus on the process, but no player should hold us back this season.

      All three of those guys are getting long in the tooth in basketball years. Especially Durant, who is 36. If we could get a deal done that makes sense then that would be fine. But at this point in their career, none of those guys is worth giving up the world for.
