Zeigler wasn't Red Cloak. He even confirms it, when he says that if he knew half the people who were there, Bill wouldn't sleep so good, tonight. He's basically saying that even he is a small fish, in this huge twisted pond. I'm pretty sure, he's the guy who nods at Bill.
Yeah, I never thought Zeigler was the man in the Red Cloak. Red Cloak had a (menacing) British accent. Ziegler seemed sheepish while admitting to Bill he was at the party, saw the whole scene where Bill was threatened and genuinely concerned about Bill's safety afterwards, telling him to stop asking questions about what happened, it was too dangerous.
Ziegler was red cloak some other night. They probably rotate hosts. Ziegler was not red cloak on bills lame night visit. He shoud of gone on a friday- hotter girls maan
@@eastwaters4082 Silence of the lambs, comes to mind....hell, even watching shit like "Narcos"will get you shook because it happened and it happens to this day. In one scene in Narcos season 3 a drug lord walks into a little night club where his rival is partying, he calmly, cooly, dressed in a silky ornate Versace shirt glides in, walks up to the bartender and orders one bottle of liquor and request one song, "Dos Gardenias by Angel Canales". He proceeds to walk calmly over to his very armed and dangerous rival and offers him the bottle of liquor as a gift and shakes the mans hand and says basically "Let's let bygones be bygones"..then he proceeds to take the dance floor....the floor clears...The drug lord proceeds to call on his dance partner...which happens to be another man..He dances a very sensual and elegant dance with this other man right in front of his rival, even kissing and making out with the man a few times during the dance, showing no shame at all, meanwhile making the entire crowd and his rival very very uncomfortable. After the dance ends he bows, everyone is in shock still, then he walks calmly towards his enemy and tells him something, then smashes him over the head with the very bottle of liquor he gifted him, after that his rival is dragged out of the club and tied to 4 separate motorcycles, they tear him limb from limb and make his brother watch it happen, then ride off. That really happens in real life....nothing more frightening than real monsters like that. That drug lord was the Devil that night....not a drug kingpin, not a thug...he was the devil himself and they watched the devil dance under the pale moonlight, right before he sent a man straight to hell.
I only saw it once a few months ago but I get what you mean because I feel that way about the Shining, and it's not even the bloody parts, it's more the feel of the Overlook Hotel. I saw the Shining at the movies when I was 11 in the summer of 1980. After seeing it recently I was absolutely amazed at how well that kid played his roll. That was the best performance of a child under 10 EVER!
@@fernandosanches3696Epstein is the new money facsimile to the types of people this film is about. He was for rich people and celebrities who envied those above them and wanted to create their own version. That is why they had to go through the trouble of using a remote island, whereas these people own the population centers and can do what they pleases there.
Victor was the man in the balcony terrace section of the open ball room. He's the one who recognized Bill off the bat and informed the higher ups of his presence as an outsider. But, I do think Victor emulates Red Cloak and subconsciously longs to be him and have his powerful position. That's why he mimics his gestures on the pool table. Perhaps to even scare Bill into making him think he IS Red Cloak to keep him safe and end his mission to figure out what happened.
Its more subtle than that. He is emulating Red Cloak to show that he is connected to him that he is one of the higher ups, but not so high that he cant be punished. The implication is that Ziegler allowed Bill access to the party and because of that he had to ensure that he was not going to be a threat or he would pay the price.
Yeah, just because of the parallels in those scenes doesn't mean Red Cloak and Ziegler are the same identity. The video calls attention to the 'London fashion designer' reference in the newspaper article, and to Red Cloak's English accent -- but then, apparently, we're supposed to forget about those and accept that Red Cloak and Ziegler are one and the same. 'But the scenes with Red Cloak were just a dream anyway, he was merely symbolic of Ziegler,' it says. Then how come Ziegler, back in 'real' life, has the same memories of what happened at the mansion as Bill, without Bill having told him about it?
@@gringofett3944 How did Ziegler allow him access to the party? It was the piano player, Nick Nightingale, who'd told Bill about it, and given him the address. He hadn't heard anything about it from Ziegler.
@@ronmackinnon9374 piano man played at zieglers xmas party... zeigler recommended piano man play at secret dick nose fuck party... piano man caused the leak, so it was zeiglers fault for recommending the guy who caused the leak
Here's what I think: 1. Ziegler wasn't Red Cloak, the accent gives that away. Ziegler was the guy in the sailor mask who nodded at Bill and tried to help him later (by sending a woman over to him, no doubt to bring him into a side room and make him seem less out of place). 2. Ziegler tapping things twice and mimicing Red Cloak was just subliminal messaging about how he wishes he were at that same level of power and status, but isn't. 3. Red Cloak was that Vitali guy detailed in the newspaper. 4. Leon Vitali was based on Les Wexner, the head of Victoria's Secret who has since been implicated as being at the top of a lot of the Epstein stuff (but never actually "outed" or charged in any way). 5. Ziegler was based on Bill Clinton, and if one looks hard enough you can find pictures of Bill/Hillary from a 1998 Christmas party that are dressed exactly like Ziegler and his wife at the Christmas party in this movie. 6. Bill is based on JFK Jr, wearing the same suit and long coat JFK Jr were known for wearing, and with the same exact haircut. In scenes where you only see him from behind, it looks exactly like JFK Jr. 7. Kubrick died right before this movie came out and JFK Jr died right after. I think Kubrick stepped on some toes he wasn't supposed to, and JFK Jr also ran afoul of the wrong people (maybe by rejecting them). 8. The large amount of cut footage which nobody has ever seen since: The studio wasn't going to just not release this movie, as it was bound to make a lot of money since people wanted to see Cruise and Kidman. So instead they just slashed the movie's runtime to remove anything remotely offensive to the wrong people. There are two things that I think were cut in particular that would make the whole third act actually make sense: 8a: Kidman's character was at the party as well and had somehow become part of the whole thing, or maybe she always was. She shows signs of dissociation during the movie and clearly has some mental instability. Also the next day she talks about her "bad dream" and it sounds exactly like the party. This made no sense and was never explained. 8b: Red Cloak and friends act like Bill saw some sort of crazy business at the party that no one can find out about, lest it bring all of them down. Except...he didn't really see anything particularly crazy. Just naked women walking around and a vaguely occult ritual. Nothing that'd necessitate killing him, or cause him to be in complete mental breakdown for the remainder of the movie over what he saw. So I think that in addition to his wife being there, there were also a lot of (very) young teens or even kids in the vicinity. Nothing would be shown in terms of them being assaulted, but I think they were shown being led off into rooms and things of that nature, to let us know the depths of the depravity at this event. 9. That last scene where they just sort of let their daughter wander off with two random guys...doesn't make any sense either, unless they've become a part of the depravity and part of their initiation is to be okay with that kind of thing. 10. Kubrick was one of the most important figures in Hollywood, and would have been let in on a lot of inner circles. He didn't actually identify with any of these "fellow elites" and this movie was him shining a light on their activities without going too far with it. You can get away with a lot in the context of moviemaking and storytelling (much like comedy can effectively expose the elites). "Eyes Wide Shut" is referring to the lower classes and how blind we are to see what's right in front of us. Just some theories. And now I'm probably on a list somewhere.
The scene where the girl is taken by the random men is probably meant to make sense if they dint cut the 26-20 minutes of the film, that's why in the end the spouse is disappointed because when bill came to the mansion they made him have sex with his daughter, that's why they gave him the letter to " give up inquiries which are useless" because they already taped him doing nefarious things so if he talks he will be publicly ostracised
I thought the same about point 8a, the dream is too much like the ritual, I would even say the movie touches on the subject of female hypergamy when Alice is helping her daughter with a math question, "Joe has $2.50 and Mike has $1.75. How much money does Joe have more than Mike?", Alice is teaching her daughter to evaluate men on how much money they have and then looks at bill with a strange smile.
Zeigler was clearly the sailor mask on the balcony. He knows Bill, he saw him and straight up recognised him, nodding at him. His wife was at his side. Now, here's something that many people probably missed: Victor didn't want Bill killed, he knew Bill was in terrible danger and tried to save him. Remember the scene when Bill stands watching the orgy, and Victor along a masked hooker appear at this back? I have the theory that Zeigler basically told the hooker to take Bill with her to another room, to hide him from everyone else, but then Mandy arrives and snatches him away. My point is that Victor knew Bill was walking towards the wolf mouth and he tried to save him, but failed.
@@HAWKMAN05_ Ziegler knew Bill was friends with Nick (the pianist at the party) and Ziegler himself recommended Nick to play the piano there as he states towards the end of the movie. I guess he also saw that Bill had cheaper clothes than the other members at the party. He rented the cape and mask from a regular store. I am sure that the rich people at the party didn't. I think the clothes and Bill being friends with Nick made Ziegler realise. It's also possible that Victor Ziegler was informed that there is a guy that arrived in a cab.
Evidence against this is that Bill asked "what gave me away, was it the password?", and Ziegler says "yes, finally" and mentions some other clues that initially roused suspicions. So if he had known it was Bill prior to the unmasking, that would be a strange thing to say.
@@aiazic. Im sorry but, I don´t know how Ziegler is supposed to recognize "cheap clothes". The clothes Bill was wearing didnt look any cheaper than some of the clothes/masks at the mansion. Ziegler obviously had some power, my guess is that Ziegler was tipped off by security about someone showing up in a taxi which he mentions later in the movie. We see Bill enters late and by himself, so Ziegler pretty much knows who Bill is straight away.

After Kubrick's "Death", the company that owned the film chopped out 22-27 mins of scenes they had already asked him to cut from the film. Boy, I sure would love to see the uncut version of the film to see/realize what Kubrick was trying to tell us. Somebody that worked on that film knows what was filmed and what was cut! Maybe a TH-camr could find them and get them on a podcast to tell us what was cut and why. . . . . . I bet they had everybody who worked on that film sign an NDA!!
It's a Christian orthodox church chant, a prayer, put in reverse. It's a first priest singing, the Lord said to his disciples, I give you a new commandment! And the second priest singing, Praying to God for mercy, life, peace and health, and for the forgiveness of sins of the children of God! Praying ARE the ones who truly believe and who take good care of this holy place! And there were Indian chants as well, put in reverse, with a text from the Baghavadhgita, saying in correct form I agree to be incarnated and I accept birth on earth for the support of the righteous ones, for the destruction of evil and for the establishment of righteousness, from century to century!!! They had the text legally removed.
it's after the toy shop...Nicole's in the cult, and initiates her daughter and Tom into it as well...sexual activity is part of the initiation...later on we see another party scene and Nicole and Tom are there, but Tom is disturbed by the price he had to pay to be there, and he then kills himself
As people have pointed out, Ziegler is not red coat, he's the guy in the sailor hat, and his wife, with the tear drop, (symbolism) is next to him. People often point out that Ziegler tried to help Bill by sending over the girl at the orgy, and that he also may have had influence in Bill being allowed to leave with only a warning. This is consistent with Bill "saving Ziegler's ass" earlier in the movie, and even though Ziegler's a piece of crap, he probably had some sense of honour towards a brony who'd really helped him out. Also, I think that the Ziegler party was largely a recruiting party, and he was bringing Bill and Alice in because they were young, horny and of the correct moral disposition. The real red coat, that Hungarian guy, had already taken a liking to Alice. And Bill was about to break through with the two model/hookers. Had Ziegler not screwed it all up by ODing his mistress, both Bill and Alice would have been nicely initiated, and likely would have ended up at the mask party as invited guests. So Ziegler felt responsible about screwing up that aspect of it too.
I agree with this. Hungarian is obviously the most scary character in the movie. A true sociopath, drinking her drink with no fear of being slapped (negative reaction) showing his beyond human power (in his mind) and then tries to kiss her several times after knowing the husband is just around the corner. The girls work for the hungarian somehow and served has the perfect distraction. Hungarian his red cloack. Ziegler just like anyone in the party is repeating subconsciously the beahviour of red cloack's ritual. Tom cruise when visiting the friend of the prostitute at her house, also knocks is fingers in that kind of way.
Ziegler is not the sailor nor is the person next to him with the tear drop his wife. She is too small to be Ziegler's wife,. If you recall, when Bill and Alice meet Ziegler and his wife. Ziegler and his wife are pretty much the same height. I think the person who nodded at Bill in the mansion was the owner of the mansion
neamparibe 11 is symbolic of god and I to a connected enlightened person. Someone who understands the hidden allegory of spiritual texts. Also... he is warned that if he makes any further inquires, his family will suffer. He makes an inquiry at the mansion the next day, and is met at the gate. Then the last scene his child walks away with 2 strangers...?
Dashara XXX I don’t know, b/c after the child walks away with these strangers, the couple - played by Cruise & Kidman - walk the other way. And the movie ends. I think it’s symbolic of the dangers of being involved with these people, especially for their notorious uses for children.
I am of the same opinion that it's not a coincidence that S K died so suddenly after having a row with the production company about some scenes of his film, that he insisted were not to be cut out. Just imagine what this movie would have caused among the people who watched it and were forced to open their eyes to an ugly truth. My comment is about the content of the movie. It's a trap to believe that Alice is a loyal wife just because she seems to be. Her beauty is a deception. The same goes for Ziegler. He seems to be a nice guy. But obviously he was surprised when Bill was successful in bringing the woman in the bathroom back to consciousness. Obviously there are recurring scenes of death or near-death in the movie, repeatedly telling us the link between sexuality as a life force, and death as a constant recurring element and theme of the movie. It's like a repetition preparing us for the obvious. The natural death of his patient, the near-death in the bathroom, the death of the beautiful woman who sacrificed herself for him, the death of his friend Nick, the pianist, and the obvious death of Sally, the girl he met who was gone the next day... It's obvious that another at least two deaths must have occurred during those thirty minutes that are missing from the movie. It's a message that sex and death are constantly at their fingertips of the powerful ones. And they can have bodies move if they wish and how they wish, and they can have bodies made immovable if they wish, and how they wish. Just as it happened to S K himself when he thought he was in a position to enlighten the world. He wasn't. He was just an artistic gifted slave to make money from and dispose of as soon as the profit made off of him, became dangerous. It's not a movie about love in marriage, quite the contrary. The ending is sad, too. And it's definitely not a coincidence that S K left for England. His proverbial fear of flying could be a way to prevent an accident and his death in the clouds. It's more of a documentary than a piece of fiction. It's probably true even for the couple. His wife Christiane being Alice, and Bill being Stanley. And the toll all of it took on his marriage!!! Remember Alice didn't leave the house to work, and Christiane didn't leave the house for work, either, she was an artist and had a studio in their house. Additionally, they had two daughters together, and strangely enough, none of them ended up having children!!! Only Christiane's eldest child eventually became a mother of a son, Stanley Kubrick's step grandson. It's obvious that there's more than one parallel between reality and the movie. I guess it's all true, and that's why it had to be cut the way the production company wanted to. The truth shouldn't come out. And it's obvious that we are handled like naive children are put in the mood with Christmas decorations, that were obviously the star of Ishtar and references to Babylon and its ancient culture.
Ziegler was the mask with the Black Tricorner Hat, the one that was directly eyeballing Tom Cruise and gave him the nod. It was not a dream sequence, because Tom Cruise went BACK to the mansion during the day, and they were waiting for him with a message and a warning to stop investigating into matters that don't concern him. Ziegler also discussed the mansion party with him at length. The 24 minutes that were cut out of the film may very well indeed may have shown that Nicole Kidman's character was at that mansion party getting boned, perhaps by the red cloak himself.
Another argument against the ritual being a dream sequence is that it is implied that several of the elite contracted HIV from the prostitute who saved Cruise because it was revealed that she had AIDS.
@ratdancer77 Aha , great observation, I had to go back to the end credits to find the guy who played the red cloak (info below). However this casting may just have been to throw us off track, kind of like four different actors were needed to create the one and only Lord Darth Vader. Is that why he got killed? Or was he always part of them to make it appear he was exposing them...? Hence killing him, the completed magic trick... population forever trapped in a loop of these theories he set you up for
Remember, Kubrick died just 2 weeks after showing WB execs his final version of the film, which means this final version might have some missing scenes. Alas, it's interesting to note this was '99 when this was released and nobody really understood what message was being conveyed yet with time, its all being unlocked...
I think it's hinted toward earlier in the film when the director puts emphasis on the costume shop owner implying his seemingly underaged daugther is for sale. After that it's never touched on again, which makes me feel like it would have been addressed in the 30 minutes of the film that was cut out.

It's a part of the Holy liturgy called "Ectenia", Orthodoxy styles itself as the one true church in opposition to the Antichrist satanism, freemasonry etc
It honestly does not matter who the Red Cloak is. The ritual sequence serves to show the real colors of the party sequence, and all characters are alter-egos of real people. They don't have to have names or faces, that is the point.
I always assumed Red Cloak is the guy who hands Bill the "stop your futile inquires" letter when he returns the day after. Think about it.. The car is stod just around the bend in the road waiting for Bill (they've clearly tailed him all day and thus knew he was coming). Red Cloak (who presumably owns the manor) wants to threaten Bill personally - but can't use his voice since Bill heard him speak - so he hands him a letter and just stares him down. He then gets in the passanger seat of the Bentley and some goon drives him back. I think Bill also knows that this is Red Cloak, they really look very intently at each other. He has the same exact build too and just has that old-money look about him. I think it's just Kubrick being checky - showing us who it is but not implicitly stating it to keep it ambiguous.
I agree with you....I mean: a) The same eerie piano music plays on both scenes in which Bill is threatened. b) His height and frame matches with Red Cloack...Not only that, the mask looks like him. c) Both, as you said, have that old wealth aura about them.
@@cidiose I never thought Red Cloak had that old money aura around him. I thought him as more of a shaman. You know the spiritual leader of a kingdom/tribe, not the actual king of the kingdom or the leader of the tribe, but still nonetheless, an invaluable asset to the group with his extensive knowledge.
I don't think Victor is Red Cloak. Victor is the man on the balcony who nods toward Bill, a clue to this is the teardrop on the mask of the woman standing beside him. At the previous party Victor's wife wore a diamond encrusted necklace and earrings which were in the same teardrop shape.
Perhaps Victor's wife was with him because she's open and tolerant about his extramarital affairs or gets the same kick out of it or maybe she's so used to his way of life she's come to accept it. Victor Ziegler: Alice, look at you! God, you're absolutely stunning! And I don't say that to all the women, do I? Illona Ziegler: Yes, he does.
According to lore of the missing footage as told by oliver stones son marc stone the missing scene shows the uncloaked red leader and its the guy nicole Kidman is dancing with. There is said to be 24 missing minutes. In that 24 minutes... It shows nicole Kidman become a part of the ritual which explains the trancelike state she is in and the character they obbiously set up for a reason but never used. Also explains the nightmares and flashbacks shes refering to in the movie and why shes so at ease with that mask. And if you wanna get creepier.... Nicole kidman is a real life monarch mk ultra victim and her dad is her handler. So that real life fact tied into her being chosen to play that role is even fucking creepier.
No, the movie is obviously about sexual abuse and trafficking of women among people with money and influence in society, something that has been more and more exposed in the open the last years; with the #meetoo campaing in front but was much more hidden back in the 90s when Kubrick made the film. The satanic like ritual is put there to give it a more dramatical effect, it is not meant to be interperated litterally, but as a metaphor how evil some powerful people can be beyond their respectable masks. I dont believe there is any Illimunati, just evil networks among influential sickos. Money and power has until recently been enough to get away from such filth.
Having watched the movie for the fourth time now, I get the feeling that Ziegler and his wife are the couple on the balcony who acknowledge Tom Cruise's character, perhaps with the initial desire to see him leave the house and remain alive. I'd love to hear Rob draw connections between the scenes at the gathering and details from Alice's dream, which immediately follows the scene.
I believe you are correct in recognizing Ziegler and his wife as the couple on the balcony. Zeigler's mask is a distorted skull. Why would he nod at Dr. Bill if it was someone who didn't know him. 💀
I've always believed that Red Cloak is the old man that delivered the letter to Bill at the Manor's entrance later in the film: a) The same eerie piano music plays on both scenes in which Bill is threatened. b) His height and frame matches with Red Cloak...Not only that, the mask looks like him. c) Both have that old wealth aura about them. d) When he gave the letter to Bill, he didn't say a word because it would have been a dead giveaway of who he was.
Ziegler is not the sailor nor is the person next to him with the tear drop his wife. She is too small to be Ziegler's wife,. If you recall, when Bill and Alice meet Ziegler and his wife. I tend to agree, but there were HUNDREDS of people there and EVERYONE was wearing a mask. Including Bill. How could Zieglar recognize a masked man, from hundreds of feet away while standing up in a balcony. And even more preposterous, how could Bill have known, or why would have he even suspected, that the masked person up in a balcony that nodded at him had to be Zieglar? It makes no fuking sense. Hundreds of people there. All wearing masks.
P.s. the Nightingale bird itself by definition: A small European thrush with drab brownish plumage, noted for the rich melodious song of the male, heard especially at night in breeding season.
The one thing not talked about is why on earth people would ever talk about a sex party where you couldn’t identify a single person, unless it was sex with minors? The film shows women and men as sex slaves but the truth is they would have been minors. They are when it comes to the rothschilds and royals, always remember that.
Why does everyone automatically jump to "minors"? Yes, probably, but the implications Kubrick is hanging a lamp on throughout this movie are honestly so much bigger than mere pedophilia. It's world control.
@@WerewolfKweef I view it this way -- control and relationships with others can be obtained with consent or without consent. With adults, there is at least the possibility that these women consented to be treated this way. With children, there is a vulnerability and trust. They are immature and lack of capacity to consent. If these people in this exclusive club are using force or fraud to gain control of such people, then they have crossed the line from rowdy fraternity brothers (adultery and fornication) to something much worse. Not many people care if the secrecy of the club is to protect fornication. If the secrecy is to protect pedophilia, then there would be armies with pitchforks out to destroy them because they crossed the line. If they are willing to cross that line, then they are willing to control more people through force and fraud.
I personally would suggest it has nothing to do with the Sydney Pollack character but a hell of a lot to do with The Rothchilds banking family. The huge mansion in the film has a strong resemblance to Waddesdon Manor, and the very name Rothchild refers to Red Shield - Red cloak.
I was always under the assumption that the man in the red cloak was a man which Bill's wife was dancing with at the beginning party. Listen to their conversation; the art interest he had. It seems, I always felt, that the dream sequence was more the first part of the film. Not a dream, that is, but the disguise these people portrayed to the rest of the world. To them, the glittery Christmas Party was what they wanted the world to see them as...the gathering which Bill attends later at the mansion, is them with their masks off (pardon the pun), showing their true selves. Everyone at the first party was at the second. The man on the balcony, at the second gathering, who tips his hat to Bill, THAT was Zeigler. And yes, that woman next to him was his wife with him, not some hooker. She was part of the action as well. The naked girl who Zeigler tries to originally pass off to Bill at the mansion, seems to be Nuala (from the first party too). Anyway, just my own take on it. Watch again, look at their heights and builds at the party, size off each person with a mask on to compare to see who is who, how they walk, speak, mannerisms. You'll soon see who is who.
P.S. The tapping Zeigler does at the end, seems to show more of his devotion to the cult personality of this tribe he is with. The red cloak guy, taps the stick with his left hand. Zeigler taps the ball with his right, at first. Then moves the chalk begrudgingly with his left. I don't think this portrays him as the leader, who seems to do these mannerisms by ritual, not by force of habit through conditioning. Acolytes do things out of force of habit, as they are brainwashed into acting this way. Zeigler is not tapping to give away he is the red cloaked guy, he is tapping as a conditioning to get him through the conversation he is having with Bill. A reassurance of who he is trying to speak for.
And Alice is part of the powerful ones. Remember how she asked Bill at the beginning of the party if he knew anyone?! He didn't ask her if she knew anyone!!! She knew them all, that's why she started to drink right away. And she's the one patting the shoulder of her child when sending her off with the two older men at the last scene in the toy store. Meaning, children can be bought just like toys for the powerful ones.
@@sarahg3500 interesting theory, i know im late but i have to ask, how do you explain alice waking up from her nightmare looking so sincere and frightened? she didnt have a look on her face where it would be obvious that shes lying about not knowing about the party. it seemed pretty real to me. but on the other hand since shes having such fantasies about all of these things to begin with, it could be that shes just really good at lying and hiding the things that she knows. but i also see a problem with this theory because shes never to be found away from home during these parties which doesnt really point towards her being a part of it. alice in this case to me honestly looks innocent.

When Ziegler says "If I told you you who were under their masks, you'd lose your sleep", it means that their are famous people, like men in power, singers, actors, sportman, TV speaker.
It’s insane how I’ve seen this movie like 20x and every single time I find more and more crazy hidden things that I had never noticed before thanks to other people pointing them out. From the final scene where Bill and Alice send their child off with Ziegler’s friends from his party, essentially doing the same thing Mr. Milich did with his daughter, to the costumes of the mannequins changing overnight in Rainbow Fashions, to certain weird phrases being repeated several times like “gentleman, have you no decency!?”, to the Bob Hope looking mask at the house with sex rituals (Bob Hope is rumored to have taken part) etc etc. There was clearly a LOT of thought put into every single frame of this film.

Interesting I didn't notice the mannequins changing, Milich did say something along the lines of "they look like they're alive, no?" In reference to the mannequins. Odd.

I must say as an adult in my early 20s. I watched this film and thought, "there is something oddly eerie about this mansion scene. Could this be true?"
It is bro. Do your research, maybe nowadays off google and TH-cam. The most good stuff has been censored. I think it's pretty obvious that Ziegler is the male from the paired masked couple on the high rise overlooking the party. The female is his wife. Paired up just like the beginning of the movie.
Haha. Not bad. I guess it's a movie that can be interpreted many different ways. I guess that was Kubrick's intention. To me though, it seems obvious because they both appear to be hosts of these parties.
Took me forever to figure out who it could be, but the eyes gave it away. The masked man has the same round blue eyes with a little purple and pink underneath as the man at the shop and is very expressive with his eyes at both places.
There's also the parallel between the red carpet and the pool table, which is red as well. Then, that piece of dialogue: - You feel like playin'? - No, thanks. You go ahead. I'll watch. - No, no, no... I... I was just... Uh... Bill didn't "play" at the masked ball. He watched, while the Red Cloak was just... uh... Doing what he was doing.

Treat yourself to a visit to Highclere Castle and enjoy the location of the orgy scene. Notice the strange door knocker: a wolf with a lambs cloven hoof in it's mouth. Highclere now better known as Downton Abbey !
Leon Vitali was a long-term personal assistant to Stanley Kubrick on several of his films, including 'Eyes Wide Shut'. Plus, Vitali was the same actor who plays the masked Red Cloak.
why would they care about consenting adults having a masked orgy it makes no sense to me why they even cared bill saw that. and it's not even a question of well he might tell his friends to come , because Nick said it's never at the same location

It's not a dream sequence. We are set up to think that maybe it was. Because he was under the influence. But it takes more than 1 joint to have a dream sequence like that first of all. It's probably why Kubrick chose the least mind altering drug he could. Plus the mask on the pillow it is a hyper-reality sequence. And don't tell me it might not be real, because it's never acjnowledged by Alice, because Bill isn't under the influence. There is no reason he should see it. You can say it is a manifestation of his guilt, but that is no more reaching than say..... the daughter being given away to 2 old members of the secret society. They send her off, plain as day. This was the price, he was warned not once, but twice. Warned that he AND his family would face the most DIRE consequences. Watch and listen to Alice's words carefully and bare in mind she and he can not openly talk about any of this. Kubrick is telling us to remember the girl, remember the girl. "Look at this, look at this". She is looking for attention more than she is at the presents, especially from the mother whom she looks up to. But then she disappears around the corner with the 2 old men members of this secret cabal, yes we know they are members because we see them at Zeigler's Christmas party talking together at the begining of the film. NOT a coincidence. 2 men last seen with Nightngale. NOT a coincidence. Mandy the hooker last seen with 2 men. NOT a coincidence. And Helena disappearing with 2 men.... NOT A COINCIDENCE.
I didn't like the film the first time I saw it, when it came out in the theater. 24 years went by and I just watched it again for the 2nd time in 2023....and I loved it. What happened?
A real director wouldn’t need to resort to abusive tactics like he did in The Shinning with Shelley Duvall. Lost all respect for him when all that came out.
He wasn’t red cloak. He was in the upper balcony and shows him watching Cruze a couple times while in the mansion. He wares the mask with the tricorn hat.
Zeigler Isn't the Red Cloak. The man dancing with Kidman (Sandor Szavost) at Zeigler's party is. His voice is exactly the same, Kubrick was a perfectionist, he wouldn't show a character for no reason. The guy shares the same name with Szandor LaVey, who was the founder of the church of satan. He was called "The Father of Satanism", "The Black Pope" The orgy/party was filmed at a Rothchilds mansion, the song was sang backwards its pretty obvious they were satanists. Victor Ziegler, is of German-Jewish (mason) origin, like Rothschild. The english Royals are also of German-Jewish origins and you can see them wear similar masks (google it) Kubrick insisted a scene from the orgy to be shown but when he died, the film of the scene went missing and was never shown. Its rumored to have kids/babies in it.
His voice, accent, and the way he talks sounds identical to Sandor, as well as the way he asked questions. At the party Sandor constantly asks Alice questions like he was trying to recruit her. He kept going on about how he adore's the Renaissance era, time when the powerful indulged in debauchery without reprisal (Masked parties) When they are dancing you see star's in the background which is a symbol of Ishtar(goddess of sex, desire, fertility, war, combat, and political power) her cults known for ritual acts of love making believed to bring success and power. Ishtar's most famous myth is the story of her "trip into the underworld" (google Ishtar) At the Mansion, you see the pope preparing women for sex doing some kind of black magic type ritual. Kubrick didn't name him after the "black pope" for no reason. He names each character carefully (Nightingale= Bird that sings at night, Domino= A costume consisting of a hooded robe worn with an eye mask at a masquerade, Ziegler= Mason, Milich (who prostitutes his kid)= yielding milk or suitable for milk production, Mandy= lovable, also a character from the oz books (she was a personal slave of the royal ox) The movie has a lot of symbolism from the wizard of oz "over the rainbow" known programming/Mk ultra to create sex slaves, Helena= shining light (in mythology the abduction of Zeus's mortal daughter Helen, sparked the trojan war. You can see at the end she gets abducted by the 2 men) Also the password for the mansion Fidelio means faithfulness (very mason) Also a name of an opera written by beethoven about a wife who sacrifices herself to free her husband from death as a political prisoner (again, symbology) Every small detail connects and has meaning, thats what makes Kubricks films so interesting, you find something new everytime you watch it.
I maybe wrong, its my guess. He sounds identical to me (my grandfather is an english man so I know what you mean about his accent) seems like there are many connections with Sandor and the pope. I love to hear why you think its the man who gives the second warning. He doesn't speak, and he doesn't seem like a man of power. He's hired to watch the gate for his owner.
Sandor was definitely at this ritual but he wasn't the Master of Ceremonies. The owner of the House is Red Cloak and he appears when Bill goes back the next day, he stares at him coldly and gives him a letter warning him to stay away a second time. He's a creepy looking old man and one of the elite families who rule the world (think Rothchilds). Remember he gets out of a chauffeur driven car, he's not a gate watcher. He's driven up from the main house.
I’ve seen hours and hours of theories and speculation on this film but never heard anyone bring up the red carpet and pool table. It’s very odd how the two scenes similarities are most definitely connected to each other. I’ve never noticed this, but I know Kubrick well enough to know it’s definitely on purpose. I always thought the English accented “red cloaked” man was to convey that even Ziegler (as wealthy and powerful he is)was just another masked man in this secret society, and we can’t even fathom how deep “the rabbit hole goes”. Great video, six minutes and learned more than most of the drivel out there, time to go watch the movie again…
I never believed Red Cloak himself was Ziegler. Ziegler to me was further up the food chain than Bill, but perhaps not quite at Red Cloak's status. I interpreted the guy who nodded at Harford upon entry to be Ziegler himself (wearing the Bautino mask up on the mezzanine) next to his masked wife. What else would the significance of the nod scene have been?
I thought it was the costume shop owner and his daughter because in the end it was odd that after saying he would call the police on them next day everything is ok
3:00 you dont hallucinate from smoking pot ... the way they acted from smoking it is not how people react to is as well. so idk what this movie or the OP are talking about.

I think the red cloak character seems to be protesting way too much. The activities that Bill witnessed were not illegal, so the response seems way out of proportion. I suspect the supposed missing film could have had something that was extremely incriminating, maybe like underage sexual activity or child sacrifice etc.
Rob T, Hello. I and Many people agree with you ! I think you hit the nail right on the head. I think The film cut a lot of incriminating stuff. Like when Tom Cruise was looking for a costume to wear in that costume Shop he saw a Father that was Prostituting his Underage Daughter, played by Lelee Sobrieski. There may of been much more revealing stuff to this scene. But was probably cut out !
I though the costume shop scene was the introduction to naive viewers child prostitution etc (very shocking and disturbing for majority of people) but I think there should have been something more at the house with red cloak. Also the girl at the morgue (dead prostitute that supposedly warned Bill) may be the human sacrifice that is not as obvious and for me brings it into real life where we hear about famous young attractive people "suicided".
I find all this debate fascinating but calling people idiots for not agreeing with this analysis is childish.Kubrick always said if the viewer of one of his movies didn't leave with as many questions as answers he hadn't done his job.Whether or not they are literally Satanists or bored corrupt socialites or partly dream partly real the image ry shows how it is about corruption and denial and loss of innocence.Kubrick was a Freudian and athiest. All the differing and strongly held opinions just remind us what a truly great filmmaker he was.The idea he was murdered I find ridiculous. He wasn't young, worked his arse off and demanded perfection in himself.A fascinating piece thank you sir I need more money also to see some of your other pieces.Kubricks version of Lolita also warrants more study.RIP Stanley and thank you.
Rob T exactly what I was thinking. Swing parties and orgies are not something to kill for to keep it a secret. And since the dr had to sacrifice his daughter at the end of the film well those 20min were definitely about it
Alternate theory to the one you want us to read between the lines: Film director who hasn't directed a film in twelve years, overweight and advanced in age, pushes himself to the limit, his body cannot take the abuse right at the end of post-production, when the deadline is within sight and stress levels are as high as they can be.
I personally feel it would be a let down if Ziegler was red cloak. It’s much more frightening and powerful having it be anonymous because it could be anyone powerful. Could be a Royal. Could be a politician. Etc.
I’ve seen another video suggesting that Kubrick was murdered because he refused to edit out of the film a piece about 17-20 minutes long, that some powerful people didn’t want in the movie. Apparently, in the original cut, Red Cloak had a French accent. Revealing that Red Cloak was actually the French Naval officer who incessantly kept hitting on Nicole’s character and that the dreams she would tell her husband about, about being naked at wild parties and servicing many men one after another, were in fact not dreams at all, but actual memories of true events (within the context of the film) that had happened to her while these same people her husband was involved with, were using her as a mind controlled sex slave! Apparently, Kubrick was warned to remove that footage and he refused. Not long after, he was found dead. Before the films release, the edits were made and the revealing footage removed! Kubrick was actually blowing the whistle on the Cabal! And they killed him because of it!
The point of the movie is that tom cruises character feels threatenend by her fantasy and tries to find himself a fantasy to fullfill. The tragedy is that he does not have any strong fantasies like her. No matter where he is, even at the biggest orgy he can not reach "justice" as in having an equally strong desire like she has. All his attempts at sexuality seem fake or theatralic (he finds himself in a literal sex ritual). It is a movie about a men not understanding female desire. If she was actually with him at the ritual and if she actually had a lot of sex it would ruin the story. The point is that her fantasy is stronger than any reality he could ever participate in.
@@NoName-qi7vx the beauty of interpretation with his movies is being allowed to reach stupid conclusions such as this one. She is one of the antagonistic symbols in the movie. I wonder why that old video popped up on ytoube. I’ve been thinking about it a lot these days and still find it deeply frightening. Some say it was Kubricks Testament, which is why he died shortly after.
Specifically, before Kubrick died he stated in an interview that he used ancient Gregorian chanting music and played it backward for effect; Latin being the language.
If Satanists play an Orthodox chant backwards, what does that tell you on Christianity versus Satanism? TO me, a lot... that Christianity, including Orthodoxy, is an enemy of Satanists... That is why European globalists call Orthodox Church a threat for global peace... ridiculous... First you attack Orthodox Serbs, Russians and others, then when they strike back, they are a threat... yeah, pax romana...
In the 1st century, there was no "church". "Synagogue" was the name for the church, because the people of God at that time was the nation of Jesus, the Jews. That's what the Bible says, sorry. And the expression "synagogue of Satan" means false believers, false church. So "false church" today is not the synagogue, but false Christianity. When Christians blame it all on the Jews, they fail to see that apostasy appears always in God's church, just as Daniel and Paul said (see 2nd Thessalonians 2, 2 etc.). If CHristians are God's people, apostasy must appear in Christianity! In the time of Jesus, God's church was the Jewish religion; later on, it was Christian church. And Paul said clearly, following Daniel, that the Man of perdition was to put his throne in the midst of GOd's church, persecuting the remnant. He did not mean Jews for certain. Because since 70 AD, Jews are the persecuted ones, not the perecutors... While ROme has always been the persecuting power and will be so till the end of time. Just read you Bible as it is written... if you dare... As for Jews, and any other nation, there are the faithful and the unfaithful ones. And read Romans 11, as to Jews and us, the Gentiles. We must all be humble facing the Judgement of GOd...
The movie is about elite paedophilia, the symbolism is everywhere in the movie. I am convinced the missing footage was delving more deeply into elite child trafficking.

For those who don't know 27 minutes of the film were excised before showing. When asked what was in that excised film some who had seen it answered: "Blood, lots of blood"!
There's no way the orgy was a dream sequence, for so many other characters were privy to it throughout the film. The novella's title, in which the film is based Dream Story, probably refers to the dream that the doctor's wife had about the naval officer that spearheaded his wild night. Ziegler was the man in the bauta mask w/ the tricorn hat that seemed to know Bill.

This movie has always both intrigued and disturbed me. It's difficult for me to pinpoint exactly why. But I suspect it's rooted in the more primal, darker areas of my soul. We all have felt jealousy, lust, fear, regret, rejection, and paranoia at some point in our lives. Most of the time we try to suppress or deny such feelings. Yet, Eyes Wide Shut reminds each of us that those feelings existed; and in most instances, are still there. Deep down...they are still there

I went into this film totally blind, not knowing a thing about it, just had it downloaded to Netflix on my phone because it was a Kubrick film. It was pretty awkward, but everyone around me was asleep. Super intriguing film, beautifully shot, and well beyond my little brain without these kind of breakdowns. Thanks for such a good video!
What do you think was in the missing scenes they wanted kubrick to cut out, but refused to? It was so important to them that they decided to kill kubrick, removed that scene and then released the movie cut. Child abuse? Human/child sacrifice? Cannibalism? Child torture/Blood drinking/adrenochrome consumption? I bet it was one of these or all of these...

Source about Stone comments please? That would make lots of sense. Many people rumoured that Kidman character is in the cult but he doesn't realise till the last part of the film, Kubrick decided to cut it or Warner bros cut it... Anyway the nicole character thing can be predicted, it's very subtle. Still if the son of oliver stone do in fact know the 24 mins he isn't allowed to tell all the contnt of it...
This film came out around the time I was just about to turn 18 and my Aunt called us from Hawaii and said “Don’t let her watch this film!” I watched it and loved it. It is so rich and nuanced that I bought the DVD.
Also interesting is that after Alice confesses to Bill about the Navy officer Bill is called to the apartment of the man who just died and he is wearing his tux. I doubt he would be so formal to put on a tux to go out in the middle of the night. Maybe I tie but not something so time consuming to put out. I believe this is when the "dreamstory" begins
Forget the accent, the voices of the two men have an entirely different cadence and tonal quality all together. I can see how you are trying to connect the two but honestly, I think you are reaching.
I also think Ziegler was on the balcony looking down on him, I think that the Red Cloak is the creepy man who gives Bill the letter at the gate. He has British accent and pulls up in a Rolls Royce.
see the similar gesture with their right hand pointing their index finger.... = both their right hands are different, see also, the knuckles are different... the voices are different, one deep , one slightly higher ...and especially, the accent are very different !
There are 2 Red Cloaks, one that wears normal dress shoes and walks around but doesn't speak or sing (played by a dancer called Russell), then the seated one with the English accent (Leon Vitali) who wears 6" platform shoes. The vocals are not Red Cloak but coming from Nick's audio gear as part of his live performance. Red Cloak walks on a red surface, Ziegler does not; he walks around outside the red pool table, representing the carpet. Red and gold is a key linking clue found elsewhere in Eyes Wide Shut such as the woman in a red dress wearing gold shoes at the Zieglers' party, gold stars on red gift wrap in Domino's apartment and so on.
I dont think the chanting audio was being played at the mansion, I think it was just played to give the scene atmosphere but not actually what the people there were listening to because we can see Nick playing piano and the chords he is playing doesn´t match the audio from the chant music. Same with the simple staccato piano notes being played when Bill is confronted by Red Cloak.
Not sure if I agree Ziegler is Red Cloak - but kudos on catching that echo of the staff with the cue ball and the chalk. That's obviously deliberate. No actor would play around with those props that way unless they were directed that way. I can't believe how Kubrick finds message in every last detail.
If Ziegler is the red cloak then who is the masked (couple) man who nods to Dr Bill from the balcony?? If Ziegler is Red Cloak - Therefore he is not this masked man. And how Ziegler was able to identify the masked Bill?!! I am leaning towards the masked couple are Milich and his daughter. Any thoughts?
@Jacky J Jones i meant that red cloak is technically played by leon vitali , you say he is supposed to represent jimmy saville? Can you send a source or something that connects him with this sort of cult ? By the way, i totally see the parallel between the bill and hillary and the zieglers, i remember thinking about it in the balcony shot at the party
When Bill H. enters the main hall of the mansion for the second time, the two guys behind Red Cloak are wearing blue/purple cloaks at 6:20. At 3:53 in the billiard room, blue light illuminates the scene, and I become more and more convinced the blue light means 'exposure,' as in a flash bulb, and all the blue light bathed scenes contain an admission, confession, something's exposed, bared or revealed, and an Aha moment.

My 2 cents after watching the film for the 1st time last night.. my interest is with what was within the 24 minutes that was cut. For me, it's clear that the man Kidman's character dances with was to be a larger part of the story arc of the film. That he featured so strongly then vanishes is strange to me. I feel the same about the underage girl in the dress shop. Her whispering to Cruise's character and her behavior around him had more potential meaning than the final cut we see allows. For me, both of these characters' parts, most likely within the Mansion/orgy scenes were what was likely a large part of what was cut. I think the underage girl and probably other underage characters with her at the mansion were scenes that cut too close to the truth for certain elements. We know more about the darker side of Hollywood now, regarding abuses of young actors etc, but in 1999, Kubrick perhaps got a little too close to actuality with his depictions.

2:57 this isn't symbolic this is a peek behind the curtain of what actually goes on and they killed Stanley Kubrick for it. He pissed them off enough by making clockwork Orange
@@verucasalt9182 Heard that before, wouldn't be surprised, but he does still voice a lot of truths for a lot of people unfortunately, maybe you have something to share that does incriminate him?
Although there is a comparison between Zeigler and Red Cloak, that contrast doesn't mean that they're being posited as the same person, and Zeigler's and Red Cloak's voices are COMPLETELY different. It seems much more likely that Zeigler is the masked man who bows his head at the start of the ritual.
No matter what speculation you make about the meaning of the film, it is still documentary in nature. The edited parts most likely included children and/or more specific ritual.
Or perhaps he's a self-aware villain.
Exactly who it is and it’s almost confirmed with the ship in the pool room relating to the pirate mask
Ziegler was red cloak some other night. They probably rotate hosts. Ziegler was not red cloak on bills lame night visit. He shoud of gone on a friday- hotter girls maan
Someone theorised the guy who nods and the woman he's with is the Hungarian (Sandor, sp?) and Alice.
Even though it is only a movie, I felt so embarrassed for Tom Cruise's character when he removed his mask.

Bang on, it's not rocket science.
Never forget this was filmed in a Rothschild mansion in England.
Interesting
Sharon Cross mentmotere towers, the first Christian Bale Batman film was filmed there

@Christian Prince who told you that?
@Tatianna Cikach it is... rothchilds
There are two things that I think were cut in particular that would make the whole third act actually make sense:
8a: Kidman's character was at the party as well and had somehow become part of the whole thing, or maybe she always was.
Adding to your theories, Epstein comes to my mind. Maybe Kubrick got too close to exposing him. Just a thought.
@@lindadanoneberg4818 No.
one theory about JFK Jr's fate: he was considering running for the same NY Senator seat for which Hillary Clinton planned to run.
How did he recongised him tho ??

It's a Christian orthodox church chant, a prayer, put in reverse.
It's a first priest singing, the Lord said to his disciples, I give you a new commandment!
And the second priest singing,
Praying to God for mercy, life, peace and health, and for the forgiveness of sins of the children of God!
Praying ARE the ones who truly believe and who take good care of this holy place!
And there were Indian chants as well, put in reverse, with a text from the Baghavadhgita, saying in correct form
I agree to be incarnated and I accept birth on earth for the support of the righteous ones, for the destruction of evil and for the establishment of righteousness, from century to century!!!
They had the text legally removed.
Could also just be 22-27 minutes of sexual content too sexual for even a director's cut.

I'm struck by how reminiscent the chanting in that scene is to the choir pieces in the '2001' soundtrack. Eerie, haunting, very powerful.
The knocking is also symbolism of conjuring the evil spirit’s power from the wood, which happens to be an old Druid custom.

The 24 minutes that were cut out of the film may very well indeed may have shown that Nicole Kidman's character was at that mansion party getting boned, perhaps by the red cloak himself.
i agree to your commend. very well said. it was not a dream sequence. btw the "older gentleman" is Sky Du Mont, a german actor.

I agree with you....I mean:
a) The same eerie piano music plays on both scenes in which Bill is threatened.
b) His height and frame matches with Red Cloack...Not only that, the mask looks like him.

But the movie is all about extramarital affairs, so wouldn't that mean she probably wasn't with her husband?
Maybe it is Vidal Sassoon.

I've always believed that Red Cloak is the old man that delivered the letter to Bill at the Manor's entrance later in the film:
a) The same eerie piano music plays on both scenes in which Bill is threatened.
b) His height and frame matches with Red Cloak...Not only that, the mask looks like him.
c) Both have that old wealth aura about them.
d) When he gave the letter to Bill, he didn't say a word because it would have been a dead giveaway of who he was.

The one thing not talked about is why on earth people would ever talk about a sex party where you couldn’t identify a single person, unless it was sex with minors? The film shows women and men as sex slaves but the truth is they would have been minors. They are when it comes to the rothschilds and royals, always remember that.
I suppose that it was originally a Jeffrey Epstein type party, but they had to change the script to make it palatable for the theater.

Also note the red shield hexagram on the Overlook Hotel carpeting in The Shining and how that relates to Danny's ordeal.
Yes it was filmed at their place apparently, and I was unaware of the red shield link too, good points
Nah
@@kowya5952 in the beginning of the movie when Alice is getting underdress, she drops her black and just like the women do during the ritual. She also isn’t shocked at the end when she sees Bill crying when he see the mask laying on the bed. Also when their in the toy store Bill tells her that dreams aren’t just dreams meaning everything she dreamed about was pretty much the truth
Alice (in wonderland ref) in opening scene high heels stepping out of a black robe (dress) mirrored red cloak robe curtain with shoes placed as feet.
Also the removed mask taken placed on his pillow next to his sleeping wife.
@@sarahg3500 Spot on. I watched for the first time last night. Am figuring out how to move forward with my life now.
How do Bill and Alice send their child off with Ziegler's friends? I didn't see that. Am I watching a different version of the film?
Interesting I didn't notice the mannequins changing, Milich did say something along the lines of "they look like they're alive, no?" In reference to the mannequins. Odd.
The devil is always hiding..could it be because he's a coward?
He's not hiding, he's actually very evident, he is convincing people that he simply doesn't exist, then people won't look for him anyway.
Satan is the biggest coward of all. He was too weak to see Gods plan for man and he was not intelligent enough to realize the plan God had for him had he said YES to it like the archangel michael did.Instead of being given even greater glory for his obedience he is destined to hang by his heels at the bottom of hell after judgement day.

Nope that’s the guy from the shop with his daughter.
Haha. Not bad. I guess it's a movie that can be interpreted many different ways. I guess that was Kubrick's intention. To me though, it seems obvious because they both appear to be hosts of these parties.
Why would a simple costume seller be at the helm of a grand occult sex party?
but the masked guy doesnt have a beard
Took me forever to figure out who it could be, but the eyes gave it away. The masked man has the same round blue eyes with a little purple and pink underneath as the man at the shop and is very expressive with his eyes at both places.
There's also the parallel between the red carpet and the pool table, which is red as well. Then, that piece of dialogue:
- You feel like playin'?
- No, thanks. You go ahead. I'll watch.
- No, no, no... I... I was just... Uh...
Bill didn't "play" at the masked ball. He watched, while the Red Cloak was just... uh... Doing what he was doing.

Really

@@frankb821 growing up does that sometimes. Also it is possible (at least for me) that movies you used to love are now uninspiring or boring.
Well said
A real director wouldn’t need to resort to abusive tactics like he did in The Shinning with Shelley Duvall.
No red cloak has an English accent and Sandor is Hungarian. Red cloak is the old guy who gives BIll the letter with the second warning.
No, his accent is NOTHING like Red Cloak's. He has a Hungarian accent.
“It’s a 25 year old, I’ll send you over a case”
Just as red cloak also sends over the 20 something year old woman

Ziegler to me was further up the food chain than Bill, but perhaps not quite
at Red Cloak's status. I interpreted the guy who nodded at Harford upon entry to be Ziegler himself (wearing the Bautino mask up on the mezzanine) next to his masked wife. What else would the significance of the nod scene have been?

It was definitely the shop owner because he sold the mask to Bill. Later on Bill goes back to the shop and his tone has completely changed.

Watched it again on Netflix and just realized something: When the Hungarian and Alice dance, a lot of the people resemble famous directors. The Hungarian always struck me as a taller Martin Scorsese. Ziegler is Yiddish for "Head Brick Layer" or "Head Mason".
Head mason
The name Zeigler is derived from the German word "ziegelbrenner," which means "brick maker." Although this name is quite common in Germany, it is most frequently found in the south and south-west of Germany, which are regions that were occupied by the Romans and had a strong house building industry.

Red cloak. His mask was gold. And that was he actor playing him, I think everyone wants to know who red cloak was in the movie.
@@sonnycorleone171 Yep, I think the underage girl in the shop probably featured in the Mansion scenes that were cut along with other underage kids.
Rob T exactly what I was thinking. Swing parties and orgies are not something to kill for to keep it a secret. And since the dr had to sacrifice his daughter at the end of the film well those 20min were definitely about it

Alternate theory to the one you want us to read between the lines:
Film director who hasn't directed a film in twelve years, overweight and advanced in age, pushes himself to the limit, his body cannot take the abuse right at the end of post-production, when the deadline is within sight and stress levels are as high as they can be.
O.M.G! ! You are a kind of genius!! You notices so tiny details, which were almost invisible to a common eye!!!!
Simply awesome!!!
The editor would verify all of that if it were true. Editors know the original scenes, and have never suggested what you just did.
Fidelio
You know what is?
@@drewgormley6933 well it’s obvious the editors wont say shit after what happened to the director

I wonder why that old video popped up on ytoube. I’ve been thinking about it a lot these days and still find it deeply frightening.
Some say it was Kubricks Testament, which is why he died shortly after.
While The Red Cloak is turning there is a Romanian Orthodox Mass sung AND PERFORMED BACKWARDS.

There's no way the orgy was a dream sequence, for so many other characters were privy to it throughout the film.
Oliver Stones son is Sean Stone not Marc Stone
Nicole Kidman is Keith Urban's handler nowadays. It is an arranged marriage for fame and success. She is a gate-keeper.
Shes basically real life Gozer from ghostbusters haha
rbeck3200tb40 actually youre very wrong. Fact check man.
Why would you're Aunt tell don't watch the movie is she part of secret society 😮
Wow! Just finished watching the film for the first time and these subtle details are amazing!
Forget the accent, the voices of the two men have an entirely different cadence and tonal quality all together. I can see how you are trying to connect the two but honestly, I think you are reaching.
Rob alludes in another video that ziegler and the red cloack are symbolically the same person, not literally itself
@Patriot Rising 1916 I think the pool table scene is simply meant to evoke the ceremony.
How clever you are !
This film is in my list of best 4 films I watched in my life
There are 2 Red Cloaks, one that wears normal dress shoes and walks around but doesn't speak or sing (played by a dancer called Russell), then the seated one with the English accent (Leon Vitali) who wears 6" platform shoes.
Zeigler was the masked attendee on the balcony who nodded at Bill. Zeigler was not red cloak.
The guy in the red cloak is thinner . Ziegler has a bigger body frame
you mean Sandor?
Red cloak was performed by leon vitali
@Jacky J Jones i meant that red cloak is technically played by leon vitali , you say he is supposed to represent jimmy saville? Can you send a source or something that connects him with this sort of cult ?
By the way, i totally see the parallel between the bill and hillary and the zieglers, i remember thinking about it in the balcony shot at the party
@Jacky J Jones Fuck off.
@Christopher Hogan Pretty much any American President
When Bill H. enters the main hall of the mansion for the second time, the two guys behind Red Cloak are wearing blue/purple cloaks at 6:20.
At 3:53 in the billiard room, blue light illuminates the scene, and I become more and more convinced the blue light means 'exposure,' as in a flash bulb, and all the blue light bathed scenes contain an admission, confession, something's exposed, bared or revealed, and an Aha moment.

@@sarahg3500 How many times are you going to copy and paste the same message over and over again????????

The cut was never confirmed to be true
2:57 this isn't symbolic this is a peek behind the curtain of what actually goes on and they killed Stanley Kubrick for it. He pissed them off enough by making clockwork Orange
We need the 21 minutes that's for sure, maybe david icke could help there lol.
I believe the 21 minutes footage is inside a vault somewhere on Epstein's island.
David icke is one of them.

This movie is so brilliant that
2h40min is too short! I wish it lasted 4h!
No matter what speculation you make about the meaning of the film, it is still documentary in nature. The edited parts most likely included children and/or more specific ritual.
