Crosshair's gun can split into two pieces. One piece slots into the backpack as you did in the video, the second ports into the side. That's for the Bad Batch version at least and I assume the Imperial release is the same mold
Oops it's literally in the promo pics haha, my bad! i5.walmartimages.com/asr/15070f29-4ac8-4814-a1fa-5c7cbeb0b5ad.bf3403d717018dacae4223d6ed6421ff.jpeg
The barrel from Crosshair’s rifle also separates out and can be pinned to the side of the backpack. One of my favourite hidden features is that the ROTJ Vader’s removable helmet can split in to the face plate and helmet part as two separate pieces.
Interesting features on some of these. Good job pointing them out! Hasbro have something of a long tradition to integrate some nice features and even interactions between their Star Wars figures, and then not advertising or even documenting those at all. The old 3.75’’ Mustafar duel figures of Anakin and Obi-Wan had bases that can connect. The Unleashed statues for Anakin and Obi-Wan could either be displayed fighting as enemies, or back to back fending off droids with a base inspired by a deleted ROTS scene.
actually, the archive c-3po is an older version than the chewbacca 2-pack one. fwoosh pointed it out. the archive one doesn't have any movement in his elbows, unlike the 2-pack version. I figured that the fett blast effects should fit cause he is mostly the same with only some new parts, but I never knew about hoth trooper interchangable faces, I thought they were just two seperate releases 🤯
I love this kind of features. I would've added that there are many helmeted Black Series figures with hidden amazing head casts. Getting the head out of those helmets is usually tough, but it's also worth the effort. As there uses to be some glue implied to keep the head in its place, removing the helmet requires hot water and pliers, a lot of time and some sweat. There is a great bald Temuera Morrison head behind Return of the Jedi Boba Fett. There are also different versions of Mr. Morrison hidden in many clone and Stormtrooper helmets (yes, Stormtroopers are not clones, but whatever). These head casts are unpainted so if you take them off their helmets you have to paint them yourself... but, even though I'm not as talented as @fett.clone ore other customizers, this is something I really love doing.
I didnt know about these features. Thats really cool. You'd think that they'd tell you about the freezing ones.I dont own any of these besides the boba.
Hello Luke thanks for sharing these figures "secrets" with us. I knew some of these features but not all. I'm hoping the rebel Endor trooper figures have exchangeable face plates like rebel Hoth troopers, and you can use Hoth trooper faces on rebel Endor troopers and vice versa. Thanks again Luke for the video and take care, Tom
1:35 I've genuinely never seen someone pose a figure to hold the stock of the gun with the hand gripping in a downward motion. Even though 4-LOM holds their blaster propped up by the end of the barrel, it makes me wonder if holding it like that with their left hand is canon in the comics or something.
Great idea for a video! We've had the idea to do a "Black Series Failed Experiements" video but never did. Sort of similar! Some of these are just such weird "one offs" that they never do again. One that I would add is that the Emperor's Wrath Vader has a removable hand that has the exposed wiring detail. Always loved that little feature. -Justin
Transformers sometimes has weird little things like Kup often being able to be dismembered or Jhiaxus' sensor piece but Marvel Legends doesn't really ever do this
Great video I didn't think to use the flames from Boba for other Boba but I'm surprised Kals cape hole wasn't that obvious to everyone, it's the same shape as BDs foot 😂
I'd never heard that rumor of "severed" heads? Is it because of that negative connotation? That an extra head would be considered some maimed part of the body?
There's a potential feature that a couple scummers have been trying to figure out, involving this little hook on Cobb Vanth's belt. Looks like the kind to hang a lightsaber but obviously not that, the gun doesn't sit on it well either! Quite odd.

me don't like swivel at all I find it gets in the way of the hip articulation. The reasons I don't like it are, there is no other figures anywhere in the market place without the thigh swivel. If you want a Death Trooper or an ARC Trooper etc. you can't find any without the thigh swivel. Myself, I mostly collect Troopers for army building. Another reason I don't like them is years ago they had a 12 inch figure that had the proper thigh armor attached to the leg properly. It was actually not attached to the leg, but you could move it up or down independently. If they made them then why can't they do it now, I say at least make it for the 6 inch figures. I understand the 3.75 scale could be too small. The way it looks now the leg looks awful and hard to work with. It makes no sense to me that it's only 3.75 action figure that I'm only going to display on a shelf. i don't care way it look on thigh armour. Black series using a new hip joint that doesn't have stupid thigh swivel. and it make leg look natural thanks god they have new hip joint that doesn't have stupid thigh swivel. this new hip much better to work with. It or swivel awful.
So its a lucas film mandate... to not attach alternate head sculps in the hasbro black series figure line??? Thats a ridiculously cheap decision to gouge the customer of more money. That should end especially since marvel legands offers all sorts of variety & options for army building!!!
I strongly disagree, and I think this kind of video perfectly explains that it's a secret feature that these toys can do these things because the packaging and the company made no mention of the features themselves. Themselves. Many of these are things people figured out by accident or out of sheer curiosity based on content from the movies and shows. I think these were all great examples of things that most people are very surprised to find out, and if none of these were a surprise to you when watching this video, it's only because someone revealed it to you previously. I'd rather there's anyone collector to figure it out each and every one of these on their own upon the release of each one respectively.

Mortar Troopers gun fits on his backpack as well.

I have the Hoth trooper and had no idea. Just switched heads. Thank you.
There are at least 8 different combinations for the Hoth Trooper. I’m sure there’s more, but at least 8 are obvious starting off.
I'm hoping the Endor rebel trooper will have the same face changing and that they can be exchanged with the rebel Hoth trooper.

Dryden Vos has face markings that turn bright when you get the figure cold.
