if you are on a computer and search history isn't there then that means that you search history is turned off and you don't need to worry about deleting it
No, no, hell no. This has since changed. There is no independent watch history and search history @1:30. It does NOT allow you to even selectively "single out" search entries and remove them. Why do I want to remove my search history? Because it clutters up my ROKU's search history in the house with the tele sets. So this 2019, 2020 video is crap when it comes to 2021.

Unfortunately the people who work at Google are incredibly special types of individuals who decided it would be a brilliant idea to remove the option "Seach history" from "History type" for no reason whatsoever
Try pressing “history” The the stacked dots at the top of the screen “History Controls” Then you should be able to see it. I’m just assuming that you’re on a phone.

As of a week ago I could go to my TH-cam history from the "hamburger stack" and see my watch and search history, but now suddenly the TH-cam "search" history selection is GONE. The ability to select the "search" button is GONE. There is no option to view the TH-cam "searches" any longer on the History page, at least on mine and many other TH-camrs I have heard from. Can you check it yourself on your YT page and see if you can still see your YT "searches"?
