Amazing! I liked the pink one the most. I've also started to paint all my yogurt cups and plastic planters at home because the decor planters here in New York are crazy expensive! Thanks for all your precious tips
Good evening Hilda from Indonesia the pot becomes beautiful after being given a very simple color Hilda you are really amazing your idea deserves an example, I am so proud to see your beautiful crafts ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Love you my beautiful friend 💝💝💝💝
Amazing...will they withstand water that is put for the plants daily? and the heat too....what colours do you suggest for those plants? do we have to use oilpaint?
I have used acrylic paints here. And you can give 2 to 3 coats of varnish, giving each coat to dry in between. I will still suggest that you use these as planters and not as pots. This way your pots will last long. And you can keep changing plants in these and get a different look each time 😊
Amazing video !!I will deifintely try this in this holidays .I'm looking to paint my outdoor pots. Can I follow tis video blindly and paint?Does the paint stay longer ?
Thanks for sharing such beautiful ideas.all r ausam must try tips.l just want to suggest if we outline that all colour planter with golden colour it will look better.sorry for suggestion.
Hi Nilima. Thanks for watching my video. No, the pots will not sustain the heat , cold or rainy weather. I suggest you use them as planters and not as pots. But if you wish to use them as pots, keep an indoor plant like a snake plant, which needs less watering..and the mud in the pot should be little below from the rim of the pot so that the water does not overflow, spoiling the beautiful work that must have done😊
Hello Natalie. I would suggest not to keep the pots outside as the weather will wear the paint off. Unless you have a covered area and you water the plants in them individually, being careful to have mud below the rim of the pot...to avoid water spillage over the painted pot. Or if you keep succulents/cactus in them which need less water. So it actually depends where you place your pot and which plant you put in it. Still, i would suggest to use it as a planter and not as a pot so you can enjoy your lovely painting work on it for a very long time😊. Do use 2 or 3 coats of varnish, giving time for each coat to dry in between😊
Fevicryl Acrylic Color You can even use white gesso to prime (as base coat) You can check my video to make homemade white gesso th-cam.com/video/VorK-LwkAUU/w-d-xo.html
Yes. It will overtime. I suggest you keep these indoors. Using these pots as planters will give a very long shelf life. You can use 2 to 3 coats of varnish giving time for each coat to dry very well in between.
Yes you can do the same on plastic bottles and earthern pots. Varnish for longer stay😊 For earthed pot, 1st wipe the pot so there is no dust for better painting.
Here I used Homemade White Gesso which acts like a primer. (You can even use white acrylic) You can watch my video for this. th-cam.com/video/VorK-LwkAUU/w-d-xo.html
Yes. But still handle with care so that your work stays for a long time. Don't keep the pots in rain or sun . Keep these indoors. And give 2 to 3 coats of varnish , giving time for each coat to dry in between 😊
Yes..if you use these as planters then it will last for a longer time. As pots, you will need to take care. Like not keeping these outdoors in the sun, rain ,cold... And watering just the mud so you will need to keep the mud level a bit low on the top, so that the water does not flow down on the pot. And you will need to give 2 or 3 coats of varnish, giving time for each coat to dry very well in between. Try and avoid spraying water on the pot. It's all how one handles it😊
Used acrylic paints in this video. I have a video where I made cement pots and painted them with acrylic paints. Link below if you want to check that out as well: th-cam.com/video/yOykh06U4Js/w-d-xo.html
Hello Priya. You have varnish the pots after you color. You can give 2 to 3 coats of varnish giving time for each coat to dry very well. And you have to apply varnish only when your paint is absolutely dry. Another thing which you can do is, to move the pot which is our in the rain and keep it where it doesn't get rain , in a dry area. And even after you have varnished, don't keep the pot in rain, the paint will eventually wear off. Keep it in a dry place and when you water the plant, make sure the water does not overflow. Anothe way is to use the pot as a planter pot and not as a pot. You can use a synthetic varnish which u will get from any paint shop. Get turpentine oil also to clean the brush. Yes. But be careful not to disturb the plant much. And if the pot is soiled, wipe with a wet cloth before you start coloring. No. Varnish will not spoil the plant. Cover the plant with a plastic bag while you are using the varnish. You can even use a liquid varnish for this purpose as you already have a plant in the pot. Sharpener painting was awesome. Pls let me know can v mix little water in acrylic paint or to use it directly
Use direct. But if your paint is little old then it gets thick..then you can add a bit of water to your paint. Don't make it runny.
Very easy thanks🎉🎉❤
