Hawksbill Sea Turtle in Fiji

Fascinating encouter with beautiful Hawskbill sea turtle in Fiji waters at Coral coast. It was really cool to get this close, this sea turtle didn´t mind our presence at all, the turtle even looked a bit curious and came toward us, in one moment she looked like she would like to have a bite of my gopro.
Sadly Hawksbill sea turtles are now critically endangered which was coused by big overfishing for their beautiful shell.
Hawksbill turtles help keep reefs healthy by feeding primarily on sponges that out-compete corals
