Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is the first game in a now extensive series of 10+ games that are still being created and released to this day. It was first released for the PlayStation in September 1999, and later ported to the Nintendo 64 and Sega Dreamcast. "Primitive" by today's Tony Hawk control standards, it utilizes flip tricks, grab tricks, grinds, and special tricks, which can be done on street ramps, vert ramps, rails, and all sorts of other objects.

Its a shame we'll probably never get another TH game but just seeing this reminds me of how long ive been playing these games. I remember playing the gba games at school.

Idk if you’ll see this, but any chance you can explain what causes the reverse grind at the beginning of your TAS?
I’ve had it happen to me accidentally in RTA runs but haven’t been able to replicate it. Idk if it could improve the current runs at any point but it’s been bugging me for years.

I wonder if anyone will be crazy enough to go for the u-turn ending in DHJ after somehow getting the huge tape jump RTA. Seems to be a strat that nobody really goes for in ILs
Only one I’ve seen do that ending was Joint in his previous 42s record, but he understandably took the easier route after getting the big jump in his 40s.

Probably just a render plugin, not hardware.
I saw a comment on the other THPS1 TAS mentioning the future "All Goals and Golds" TAS a few days ago and anticipating it. It then showed up in suggestions after watching the former again.
