This is actually the exact same watch as the Aqua Lung i200c. Check the manuals, even the table of contents and actual content are word for word. They only changed the font. Pelagic I think made both watches, is the reason. So for these two it's really just down to the looks and brand you prefer.
This isn't entirely correct, the Oceanic version has two algorithms to choose from when the Aqua Lung has only one. The Oceanic version is more "advanced" in this respect.
I have the geo 2 since years i'm currently on my 4th battery and O ring change, i noticed that it is the exact same ui as geo 4 so what is new? What is the motive to change my geo 2 to the geo 4? Keep in mind that my dive comp is still looking as new no scatches no problems at all although i used to dive almost everyday
My wife dives the Geo2 and I have a Suunto D9 for recreational outings... on 0 level conservancy, she gets on average 5-10min more NDL than I do on the same dive profile. Geo4 looks tidy, but what's the price point Vs the AquaLung i200, which is basically the same computer? Mark is my spirit animal.
Gonna be my next dive com, been using the Geo 2 since 2010 and it is still kicking after more than 300 dives. For me, having the same UI as the geo 2 is a plus since we dont need to relearn how to use the dive com. My only 2 complains with the geo are that the screen could have better scratch resistant and the back light doesnt die on you after a while.
You might be right but it also looks very similar to the interface on my Geo 2.0. More likely that Aqualung and Oceanic source their electronic hardware from the same Chinese manufacturer.
I first had the Geo 2.0 and now the Geo 4.0 for about three months and with both computers I've had the issue that they reset themselves during a dive. Meaning if you've been diving for 30 minutes it goes back to 0 minutes and looses all the NDL data, which is very very dangerous. I do not recommend to buy this computer!
Great review..subscribing now for sure. I have the Geo 4, how and where can I get another screen protector…appreciate the help.

Thks. Great review, very clear and precise.
Sooo, other than the style it's the exact same as the Geo 2??
Michael Yemen it has Bluetooth. But other than that, it seems pretty much the same
@@paradadeseguranca Lame! Thanks for the reply though!
The GEO 4.0 has both DSAT and Z+ algorithms but the i200C only has the Z+
Thank you, but holy cow, what an incredibly complicated way to switch to free dive. Sure would be nice if this was an option on the app.
How do you clear/delete all data on the Geo 4.0?
Get the app and you can delete old dives and settings
Come on don't lie.
They bought the screen and software from aqualung and put it in a different case.
This is identical to my i200

I like Geo2
Good video but if you have the app you can do all this on your phone and then sync it the computer and its adjusts it's self lol

I've never had this problem with my 2.0
