why is it, that we should Not aspirate when we remove the catheter (step 3). Isn't it similiar to a Aspiration catheter, when we remove it after thrombus aspiration (when we remove it WITH holding the suction) to preventembolization? Thanks in advance for your answer and for the video
Not really - thrombus can be squeezed to the sides of the covered stent - also the risk of restenosis and stent thrombosis is much higher with covered stents.
