They've reached their 4 year anniversary a few weeks ago. The pilot trailer for their new series just dropped 3 days ago. I love their dynamic, they really seem comfortable with each other and it's nice for Nat to have someone as attentive and experienced as Max be his partner.
Just like ZeeNunew are 9 years apart, so too are MaxNat. Max is 29 and Nat is 20. Nat is actually younger than Nunew. (MaxNat is the same, just a year younger than ZeeNunew. However, MaxNat have been a couple for about 2 years longer than ZeeNunew.) In some of their BLs Max and Nat couldn't even have NC scenses together because Nat was too young at the time. MaxNat have known each other since Nat was about 17.
So far they have had at least 3 series together where they have played a couple, and their next one, Naughty Babe -- which follows Hia Yi and Kon Diao's storyline from Cutie Pie Series -- will be coming up soon. The official trailer was released a few days ago.
*They are also currently filming for the drama TwoWorlds, which is a sort of time travel/alternate reality-romantic thriller. If you haven't seen that trailer yet, you really need to check it out. If you liked Manner of Death, I think you will enjoy TwoWorlds.
That's what I think makes Zee's and Max's and Nat's and Nunew's friendships so special because they are each other's best friends and they have the same type of dynamics with their partners as each other, which helps them to relate to each other and makes their bonds that much closer. They know that they have someone who they can rely on who is walking the same path, etc. Their lives almost parallel their Cutie Pie characters.
