- Downton Abbey, Christmas special, 2011.
25 de dezembro de 2011
Christmas 1919. Downton Abbey is hosting a lavish Christmas party, yet despite being the season of goodwill, tensions are rife and Bates' arrest has cast a shadow over the festivities.
As festividades de fim de ano chegam a Downton, mas o clima não é de comemoração. Enquanto patrões e criados rezam pelos que se foram, eles precisam se esforçar para evitar que mais uma vida seja ceifada da mansão.

I am watching this again. How kind lady Violet was to talk to Daisy in the library when she was so troubled about William! She could have just ordered her out, but instead she listened to Daisy and tried to comfort her. Like the rest of the world I miss Dame Maggie Smith!
I loved this show. Thank you. Thank you.❤
How nice to visit with them all again.
All the Christmas specials were good but this is still probably my favorite
I never watched the show but everyone seems to love it.
I loved the series when I saw it the first time
Thank you for uploading this. I wish someone could upload the whole series, even BBC. Why not? It's been years since it was on. It would be nice to see all of it again.
It's on Peacock TV for free and on Amazon Prime.
It’s on Netflix and Prime Video
I love this show. Thank you for uploading

I just love how the Dowager tosses her hand at the Christmas Card from someone she clearly disregards....
That movement speaks volumes !
😂❤
I still remember watching this and how I felt right then.
4:20 - Violet quotes - The phrase "Où sont les neiges d'antan" originates from a poem by 15th century French poet François Villon, specifically from his poem "Ballade des dames du temps jadis" which translates to "Ballad of the Ladies of Yesteryear" and means "Where are the snows of yesteryear" in English; essentially asking where the past has gone.
Years later, the famous French singer Georges Brassens (my favorite) puts this poem to music and sings it.
It was commonplace for educated people in Britain to drop quotes in other languages. Everyone understood. Sadly today, culture takes a back seat to practical trades.
Thank you for liking the story...i love it
Anna has a lovely wisdom
I love the vignette of Mary standing beneath the snow flakes in her summerish frock. I believe that Cora is never given her just due as an American who married into British aristocracy & navigated with wisdom and equinimity the currents of an up tight very confused family, all the time knowing she was married for her money and love and respect only came later
Good movie but not with the Ouija!
So in the end the spirit who was talking to Anna and Daisy was Lavinia and she was wishing Mary and Matthew to be happy together. She was giving them her blessing.
I finally got it !
Thomas Barrow looks like a vampire.
Do you promise?
Wickedly hilarious line.
Maggie Smith had the best lines 👍
Mrs.Patmore gave her a proper dressing down.
Thank you for this ! I would sub but your voids are to short like 3 to 5 min or shorter ! Not worth it 😮
Ouija board Leviticus 19:31
Daisy is right, it's not right. That could have been left out. God says it's not right also.
You actually spoke to God and got His opinion about a storyline in a fictional show?
Leviticus 19:31 Bible@@katemaloney4296
Ouija board is a stupid storyline. Imho.
I hoped this was a joke.
I agree.
Dunno about that … I’ve played this and it def brought forward strange things.
I like it..all things happen in life
Only those who never believed in the after life have scoffed at the Ouija board.
