Don't let Gail Banks hear you say you don't need to replace an OEM part. He'll make a video about you telling saying you just don't understand air density 😂
People actually believe his bullshit, the man has made a fortune selling shit that doesn't make power. Anybody remember his 6 gun for the Common Rail?🤣😟🤣
Crazy to think i have literally been watching you for years and your still coming out with new badass content regularly! Thanks for keeping our love of cummins out there for many generations to learn! 😊
Thanks for the keating tip I’ve been having a hard time tracking down a v band flange for my Garrett. Called them up and they have what I need ready to ship!
Hell Yea!!!! Love it!! Are those DDP injectors the new ones with pilot holes? Been super curious about them. And would like to see all the pump mods that you do. Keep it up!!!
Great idea for content. Don’t forget to tack weld the 5th gear nut. Please over detail the engine install in the chassis. I have a K20 with original 6.2 that needs a 12v swap, which requires a body lift. Hopefully you will educate us with new products that don’t require a body life.
Are those the new style ddp with the pilot holes? Stage 2 should do 500rwhp easy but that 64 turbine going to be the limiting factor. A 60-67 would have been a better choice.
60:67 drive like crap in a hx35 housing. The 60/64 is perfect for that 400-500 range. But I'm with you turn it up more and run the 67mm turbine in a 9cm housing!
@@horsetorquesdiesel Yeah the he style 9cm on a 60-67 is what I had in mind. I forget people still build hx stuff with the old little outlet exhaust housings.
Idn if you have tried Right Stuff it comes in one minute and 5 minute. It's basically liquid rubber in a can. Seen it used years ago in nhra and been using it without issues ever sense.
Wondering the importance of going to a fluidampr system. I have a mild build going on (many similar parts to what you have shown here, but on my vp44 truck) but still haven't made the jump to a fluidampr. Honestly, I'd guess the truck to be 300 wheel, and that's really fine by me. Any need for it?
@@nevinbontrager8828 it'll make it a little quieter. Usually what we see is high mileage stock ones on the last leg. We tell people a new stocker is 200-300 bucks and this Fluidampr which essentially cannot wear out is 580 and let them make the choice
As much as i don't want give banks any business, do you have any though on using the banks intake on the 6.7s to get rid of the factory grid heater? As far as i know thats the only kit that gets rid of factory heater and still provides a heater with the new intake.
Good video…. Question for you guys I have a billet tappet cover (PDD) quite a bit oil comes of the vent tubes more than the stock cover any suggestions on witch one to purchase?
So they are designed to have baffling inside did you install it? I plugged those threaded holes and installed a baffled valve cover. Always better to vent high on engine
450 hp no smoke ! Or a little bit of smoke? Been watching y’all’s TH-cam channel for a while Great content kinda new to the diesel community But seriously 450 hp w/ no smoke ?
"Probably not them" 😂
What a #legend 🤣
And just like that we are all waiting for Gale Banks to make another short video addressing this lol.

he actually vouches for OEM. only ever heard him to stay away from other aftermarket companies lol.

you got me on the Ugly Powder coat intake! Killing it Josh! love it! thanks!
Really want to see that fuel system install. As always great video thanks

Just put the updated output shaft in. It only take another hour and its a real fix
That's a nice table full of quality parts!
Happy new year Josh! Good video. Wish I could afford similar parts for my 5th gen. I might be reaching out for some business on my 5gen brotha
Other question is hopefully updating spring keepers to PDD keepers
18° is nice for a mellow sound.
Commenting for support!!

Love it
Get yourself a three-piece exhaust manifold that one there will crack your head
Steed isn't going to snap a cylinder head
Yes sir. Love the content.
You're digging that banks red intake😂
Is the stainless diesel 60/64 a good turbo for consistent heavy towing given the proper injector size? Maybe with stage 1 ddp injectors

Oh please tell me you aren't one of his nut swingers? Please tell me that was sarcasm 😂
I cant hit the thumbs up enough times 😂💙💙💙 i love that I'm not alone with the banks crap... 😂😂🤘👍
All that plus 2 tubes of RTV!
Without a doubt

If I recall correctly he does indeed use it. I remember seeing it in one of his older videos.@@mustangdemon87
Do you have a parts list for all that?

@horsetorquesdiesel
That's fair. Well I had mine off a month or so ago and it was fine. So... meh.

GDP moves it to the throttle valve and so does BMP. But banks does have a nice plate for the intake
👍 a little 12 valve love!!
How much is a kit like that but I have a automatic transmission
What about cam? Stock?

Do your hoses go straight up then down?

If bumping timing to 18 degrees stage two perfect match

What aftermarket part would you have used for this 12V engine in place of that Banks Power Pack Twin Ram?
The stock horn
