I would recommend anyone interested in genetics look into what "co-dominant" means and incomplete dominant. The vast majority of genes in our hobby are actually incomplete dominant, co-dominant is really a misnomer. Human blood types are co-dom. The words we use don't REALLY matter, we all know what co-dominant is referring too, but still. If we all just said heterozygous or homozygous for all genes communicating about morphs would be way easier
Should do a video how to get around morphmarket because I use it often but feel like alotta the info and things you use or find there I don't know where you find
Ernie Price freedom breeder haha yes the hybrids are plenty sturdy but I have never owned a rack system just watched a shameful amount of TH-cam videos.
Not really, the problem with aspen for ball pythons is the humidity. Aspen doesn't hold humidity well and when you have a humid enclosure aspen can cause mold.
Aspen is fine, many people use it. Just monitor the humidity it can get very arid. It also can mold a little quicker than other substrates. I personally prefer a coarse/chunky coco substrate like reptichip or coco blocks. Paper is good too. Never use pine or cedar.
your question of the day answers are some of the most helpful tips I've heard! I hope all is going well for you, Chris.
Whoa the Leopard Vanilla morph at 10:47 looks really cool! It sort of looks like a splotchy banana, which is pretty cute on a snake :D

Morphmarket is great. Check out their community page as well.
What’s the difference between the ars caging hybrid and ars caging original rack systems?
Ernie Price plastic when and where they can get away with it on the hybrid vs all metal.
@@SwingingPythons which would you chose? The hybrids still a nice sturdy set up?
Ernie Price freedom breeder haha yes the hybrids are plenty sturdy but I have never owned a rack system just watched a shameful amount of TH-cam videos.
If you have the option would you breed some other type of snake or reptile along with your ball pythons
Do you have to mist your substrate if the humidity in the room is on point?
Heyy what's up chris!
Would you have done anything differently in your carreer as a reptile breeder?
I’m going to breed my fire with my orange dream yellowbelly
I recently acquired a female peanut butter and wanted a contrast male to breed with her any suggestions
Do you think aspen is fine for ball pythons? I’m getting different answers

@@voltur4193 so no aspen?

Its better to just spend the extra small few bucks and get the better substrate, it looks betters and it’ll hold heat and humidity way better
How long do you wait before placing your males with different females?
I'm really getting into the dark co-doms. I would kill for a black head, a cinnamon, a black pastel, and a mahogany.
overweight BP
