Ehh not true. You contradicted yourself……you can’t look at “black” people as just “out there” or unorganized when the truth of the matter is that black people aren’t a monolith. They aren’t “one”. In other words “they” aren’t a “they”….lumping them as if they’re together or that they should be together based on skin color is the problem. “They” aren’t together because “they’re” literally not together. It would make more sense to look at the identity of the structure based on something more real like specific gangs, religion, region (neighborhood/city) etc…the problem with these discussions is that “black” people are being judged by skin color and hair texture while other people are being judged by nation, culture language etc.
Now…..how are “blacks” structure under a organization like Islam?

I will tell you an answer or the answer.
At least in the gangs of El Salvador, when you join the gang, you are not only part of the gang, but in a way you are owned by the gang. It's like selling your soul to the devil. When you're older you can "calm down" that it's some kind of retirement, but the gang always has authority over you, and if they want you to do something, you either have to do it or face the consequences. .
The only way to get out of the gang completely is to become a Christian, but a real Christian, because if the other gang members in your gang see that you are just pretending, you have to face the consequences.
I hope this answer has clarified you. That is with the gangs in El Salvador but I think it also applies to Guatemala and Honduras.

That level of discipline is powerful but if you’ve got seniors that are still selling stolen property into their 60’s and 70’s, it’s obvious that your organization isn’t using that high level of discipline to advance itself. You’re squandering all that loyalty and obedience on bullshit. That senior should’ve been disciplined for not advancing himself to a position where he could one day share his wisdom and experience to further expand and strengthen the organizations power and influence.

I think it just boils down to commitment. a lot of new school vatos just didn't come up under a regimented system where the rules were enforced like back in the day so there's a lot of leniency and sloppiness. We all know what it takes to be a part of the neighborhood but you have a lot of pee wees nowadays that want to be cowboys and theyre one foot in , one foot out and there's nobody there to check them for that so it becomes normalized. As a result the gang life as a whole becomes watered down as Mr. Ayala said in the video. when the program is diluted the lifestyle is directly affected as well
Plus there's also a lot of distractions out there in the world and if youre not 10 toes down and COMMITTED to the fullest youre going to be a victim of those distractions.
these distractions leads to a lot of mistakes and has gotten a lot of brothers in situations where they cant control their freedom.
