I heard The Composer at CanJam on Sunday. Yes it is a great headphone, but also the amp they were using was also very good. The amp is also from Austrian Audio. It could power the Tungstens!
The Composer doesn't need much at all, which is the nice thing. It sounded great on my RU7. It's very open though, so it would be tough to get a great listen of it on a noisy show floor.

very much appreciate the review. unrelated, but i'm puzzled why not use a shotgun mic above the field of view? the shure keeps distracting my eye, and each time you turn away your vocal volume dips. maybe it's just a style thing but, fwiw, it's distracting this new viewer.
When I had listened to this one, I was quite surprised how well it suited to my taste of sound...in parts I identified some characteristics of the Meze Empy and Elite, what fir me is seducing 😛. But on the other hand the build and used materials are a bit of a turn off for me as well. I want to see and feel that this is a 2,700 item to satisfy not only my ears when I spend such a bunch of bank notes...when you show this to non audiophile friends, they will not believe you 🙃
Price is ridiculous for that fake leather and cheap build. My "reference" ADX5000 for half price of that are made from magnesium, alcantara + other rare materials and are hand made in Japan. I'm sorry for Austrian Audio but one must have be a fool to pay that price 😅. Imagine that fake leather peeling off after some time and that feeling that you was that idiot who paid 3k for this 🤣

I think it looks absolutely stunning. To me one of the best looking headphones I have ever seen, if not the best.

I like this A LOT more than Focal Utopia and it cost half the price. lol....
yea but Utopia at least is build like a proper top end headphones, you pay for luxurious feel and sound, composer is a joke price wise

Shotgun mic is actually on my list, it's a cost thing as I already had the Shure ready to use. Appreciate the feedback 👍
