- In this video you will learn how to make cold and hot water dispense at home,with the help of peltier module and motherboard heat sink,this project can be very helpful during this summer,it is very cheap and simple.
WORKING
Thermoelectric coolers (TEC or Peltier) create a temperature differential on each side. One side gets hot and the other side gets cool. Therefore, they can be used to either warm something up or cool something down, depending on which side you use.it must be used in conjunction with a heat sink to avoid burned,thus in this project we have used one side for cold water and other for warm water,with heat sink to increase cold and heat rejection.

I am trying noe with 560R, but it can;t work.
both side are heating, no cooling.
+Online Newsbd there is no use of resistor in cooling and heating effect of peltier module you should keep in mind the power supply should be 12v 5 ampere
I don't want to use the hot side because it is plastic and it melts but good idea though

i had purchased TEC1-12706 peltier. I had connected with 12v dc supply then hot side it is getting too hot but cooling side it is not cooling 32 deg only.

"no waste of energy", lol. Peltier elements are extremely inefficient, you heat up one side around twice as much as you cool down the other side...
If you use this peltier module, you will surely have pay the electricity bill for 72 watts per hour whenever you use it peltier module are extremely inefficient.

Get copper heat sinks! Unsealed aluminium will cause long term heath effects!. Soda cans have coating on inside for this reason!

yes
aluminum bottle will dissipate/accumulate heat into/from air and the temp. of the water in bottles will maintain an equlibrium with room temp.

A peltier cell isn't an actual heater. It really just has a cold side and on the other side it disipates heat, so the water will be as cold as the peltier cell can disipate on the other side
