This video was well thought out the colors, the light, her wardrobe, and explaining how you moved the light around. Keep that up it shows how much work you're putting into this. I mean other ones had alot of work in it to, but this was more clear!
8:32 this is my favorite one. So beautiful. I really like how the background and foreground are separated from the focal point. The details in the trees, model and pathway are remarkable

Just got this flash and the accessory kit. Guess I know what I’m trying next time a shoot doesn’t get a golden hour! I liked the side light ones at the end, I wonder if more warm light could be thrown in with another flash and a golden reflector…

Last picture in the video is my favorite ! You got a perfect back light, you got the transparency in the leaf, your model had a nice posing, and your editing is superbe (the blue in the sky seems stronger than in the others). :)
I really love natural light and I always avoid using flash but your video changed my mind. it is perfect specially when you use it at the side the light behind leaves are amazing. I will definitely try this :)
Good to see you trying more techniques. You could start a little earlier by adding a polarizer to darken the sky or even earlier using an ND filter but with the ND you might need to add a fill flash for your model. Both ways will give you more "Fake" blue hour to work with.

Irene great video I have a question if you wanted to buy some flashes but you did not want on camera flash. What would you start off with the AD100Pro or the AD200Pro.
I like the backlit horizontal ones that fill up my TV with the glowing hair. I wonder if you could still get that level of cropped sharpness with the 24-megapixel R3

But if your camera has leaf shutter(for example Fuji X100) :) you can sync flash up to 1/2000s which will allow you to shoot all day like that and the flash will be much more powerful. Also I like using speedlights because they have an integrated zoom and I can place them further away than the model. I use 3-4 of them at max power and I can shoot all day if it is a cloudy day. All day sunset :D
Excellent video Irene. How are you dropping the filter into the dome? Are you using an adapter? I have the AKR1 kit for round head Godox flashes and I have to use the filter adapter to get the filter to mount correctly.

I need to remember to buy a 2 step ladder at my shoots. I sometimes want to be taller for some shots and just tiptoe, haha.

It's your lens, not the camera. Try buying a 50mm f1.8 and you can get similar results.

Amazing technique and result, could you share how do you determine exposure for face and the corresponding flash power to be set.
The same way you would determine the exposure without the flash. I set it to manual and then adjust accordingly

I think will be nice to have grid is well just to eliminate a little bit that spill on the ground. But in some images spill looks awesome.
