I'm SO glad they gave a special shoutout to Chris. Even though a lot has improved, there's still a LOT of homophobia and bigotry in the world left. It takes guts to be out infront of the whole world at the age of NINETEEN (and to think he was open during his high school.) Amazingly talented performer, amazingly sweet kid. His talent speaks for him, he deserves big things in future.
I love the fact that they got this award, but I was put off by Ryan Murphy's comment about "instead of announcing it at 40 when it doesn't matter," obviously referring to Ricky Martin. who is he to judge other people that may have struggled with it more. Each person deserves to go through their own personal process.
@juansefa I don't think it was directed solely at Ricky Martin...Cause Jane Lynch came out around the age of 40 as well...But he does have a point. When you come out at age 40...it has a much less of an impact than if you come out at age 19...Granted the way he said it made him sound a little like a jerk but...i don't think it was malicious.
Okay, first comment! Well, hooray for Jane, hooray for Glee, and especially hooray for Chris. But, if Ryan Murphy's "spoiler" of Kurt and his BF becoming Prom King's comes true I'm going to be pissed! I hate spoilers! Although, I'll still probably cry like a baby when/if it happens. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed and hating every minute of it.
@billie713 I think he is trying to say that there WILL be a happy ending for him.. it was a poor choice of words but i took it as there are good things around the corner for kurt
@TokyoLibra I think that's what he wants it to be but its a tv show. He said lots of time that he wanted Klaine to be prom queen and king (and not as a joke from the students :S ) but TV = drama ahha.
kurt will never be the victim?? umm..... ok... sure... him and blaine will be popular....? and did he tell us a year early that kurt was going to win prom queen?
@SlightlyUnusual8 Ok ,I try to look up the original comments I made to offend you because to be honest I dont remember ,anyway I may have came out wrong is still a big deal I never wanted to say other wise, but I probably implied is not as big of a leap in faith if you are playing a gay character, I love Chris he so talented it hurts ,but lets say it was a action here star that is a HUGE DEAL, also am not American I dont know When did he actually came out I honestly dont know or care
RM are you for real I mean I love chris but he didnt really need to come out , it was asume fact that he was Gay , in another hand if somebody like macho action film guy was gay and had to say in public that would be hard
@anthonyok hah I know right just because Ryan is so obviously gay he doesnt even need to come out. and yeah you're one in millions in a place like LA. small towns when everyone knows your business i imagine it really does. plus its no one's business is it

Also, I'm VERY impressed almost the whole cast is there. If that doesn't show their unity, nothing does.
"Madonna. Tuesday Night." I think that's the best ending to an awards show speech I've ever heard :D

2 things i'd like to point out in this video: "chris' character will never be the victim"

@billie713 I think he is trying to say that there WILL be a happy ending for him.. it was a poor choice of words but i took it as there are good things around the corner for kurt

i dont like how they say creator Ryan Murphy, when he is a CO-CREATOR!! Ian Brennan and Brad Falchuk created it as well!!!!!!!!!
i honestly do not understand your comment. I'm a really dumb confused idiot. who just likes watching random videos. please explain.
RM are you for real I mean I love chris but he didnt really need to come out , it was asume fact that he was Gay , in another hand if somebody like macho action film guy was gay and had to say in public that would be hard
