    They’re probably not nasty at all to the candidates, it’s probably edited so they only show the criticism and cut out all the positive bits. They’re critiquing business plans so they’re actually doing them a favour by pointing out the issues in it.

    Unless you are applying for a Management position of a multi million pound company
    Most places won’t really care as long as you drive and have a clean background check
    I wouldn’t suck up to people who give cold stares and are expecting way too much out of people

    Mike is a common sense guy and Claude is quite mellow here too compared to how he was. I think he is quite a reasonable guy tbh. These contestants are living in la la land. I think lack of experience can be made up for with hard work and solid research though but not buying the domain name you want to use is a huge faux pas.

    Do parents really dress their children in designer clothing in England? Is the contestant talking about designer clothing such as Gucci or Louis Vuitton and not high street like Adidas or Nike. Would people go out of their way to authenticate items such as Nike and if you are rich enough to buy luxury items for your children why would they buy second hand?

    • @TheDestineyy
      @TheDestineyy 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes she means high end designer like Gucci and Louis Vuitton. I guess the whole point of the second hand thing is that it’s more sustainable as children grow out of their clothes quite fast so instead of throwing the clothes away, Steffs platform would be good to advertise them on. Not every rich person is buying designer, there are people that always buy designer items for themselves that they can barely afford. It makes sense that a parent would want to spoil and kit their kid out in designer clothes and the clothes being second hand drastically decreases the price of them, making it easier and more accessible for parents to purchase.

    I've seen loads of young managers like these coming into our company. They're usually full of B.S, full of themselves, and haven't actually got a clue what they're doing. They talk a good talk at the interview stage though, and that gets them through the door. Unfortunately for them, they are usually found out for what they are, and don't last long.

    No but just because you don't make an actual product doesn't mean you're not knowledgable on it. I knew a guy who ran an art shop for 45 years. He couldn't paint or draw to save his life.
    I love antiques, but I'm not a cabinet maker, but I've enough knowledge and enthusiasm about them to have sold some in the past.
