Nuggets being a much smaller team with a two 6'10 bigs had to play a faster pace game inorder to win. Lakers had a 7'1 pf and a 7'2 center with a 6'11 sf/pf. As the game got closed the bigger team (lakers ) won.

Up until 5 years ago or so, certain plays that were fouls in the regular season wouldn’t be called in the playoffs, and seemed to be greater with each round. Kobe and the Lakers won this series and subsequently the title afterwards, but this WCF was a DOG FIGHT. Even tho the Lakers went 7 with Houston the previous round, I believe THIS was there toughest series.
