Curvy Girls Boutique is a special shop for gorgeous plus sized brides. Soon-to-be married Charlie visits the Curvy Girls Boutique with her best friend, in an attempt to find the most flamboyant and fluffy princess dress for her wedding. Little did she knew that her innocent shopping trip would help her to discover something important about her true self.
What a sweet, caring friend. Love that this show doesn't promote drama or toxic relationships like some of the other Say Yes to the Dress's do.

In the US there is David's bridal and l recently saw a video review on a plus size girl. She was totally mistreated too bad they dont have bridal consultants like these beautiful ladies.

Charlie is absolutely beautiful. Very upsetting about her father. Her friend is so supportive and understanding. People that claim they are friends of others could learn a thing or two from her.

Used to be a seamstress in a bridal shop. We specialized in making people feel special and confident in their clothing. We never judged either. It was so great to know that we could take a dress and make it look as though it was designed to fit, not just altered to fit.

22 years ago I was SO convinced I wanted a white, satin, beaded full gown. Oh, my gosh! Like Charlie, I was so very wrong! LOL!! Candlelight silk and pearls, that made me look lovely. So "old world" and romantic. Thank you Curvy Brides! You do wonderful work. Wish you had been around when I got married.
These two ladies have a genuine friendship. Also I wish there more shows with Jo and Alison....they are so uplifting.

I think, out of the bridal dress shows I watch this is my favorite one because of every moment a woman looks into the mirror and sees herself as beautiful for the first time - the beauty in herself that was always there. It's always just a beautiful moment... where her face lights up and you can just feel how amazing that moment must feel for her and how much more amazing her wedding day is going to be for her because of it.
In all honesty, it makes me wish I could do what these ladies are doing everyday... but I don't know anything about bridal dresses or anything like that. I just live vicariously through them here.
