How do you respond when a negative feeling arises?
I love your explanations. I used to write fiction, and sometimes it's helpful to have archetypes. Back in the day when I was writing, I used mbti and eneagram to get into the psychology of different personalities. But I found Tarot cards to be actually better. By the way, could the King of Cups also be into psychology or a therapist ? I know one person who could fit the description. When I was at university, I had a teaching class about art that I thought irrelevant and didn't interest me a lot, but the teacher was so good at communicating his passion that I ended up being really interested. The dark side of the King of Cups though is that he can be a real warm person to the point he makes you feel special. And then you see him being just as warm and friendly with everyone and you don't feel so special anymore. So I think he's less authentic than a Queen of Cups, a little bit less introspective and more group oriented also. In any situation, he can embody what the group is feeling. The kind of person to do a speech when someone died for instance.
I love what you wrote here, especially about his "dark side". I think that's so true! He can make others feel special...but he does that with everyone! And YES, he is very much into things like psychology and therapy.
