Saving Samsonite

The night started like any other night. Sort of, except we were building a fire pit. As my associate, Jeff and I, were about to wrap things up and call it a night we heard these loud screeches. After further persistent noise , we determined something was close and in distress. Being self proclaimed and determined volunteer fire fighters we were able to identify a baby squirrel that fell an estimated 75 feet to the hard ground. Samsonite was not in good shape at the time. Jeff put him back in the tree hoping the mother would come save him. We check an hour later and he tumbled back out of the tree. It was time to save this little creature, we were his only chance. Here he is the next morning....not crying anymore (he can barely open his little eyes). He is lucky, happy and content. He is under good care now and the adopted parents googled how to take care of a baby squirrel. We got this . Pray for this little guy.. he won the squirrel lottery.
