Yes I come to have peace now after reading God's word but I won't lie for the longest of time ever since I was a kid I hated God because I felt he made other of his children he love beautiful and had great decisions over them and not me. I was angry and sad because I am Filipino, I am an Asian person and I've always asked God why he thought to himself to make some of his children Caucasian, Hispanic, European, and not me. I also didn't like the looks he gave me but I thought he did so very well for others and the race he decided for them. It was so very difficult but im starting to be okay little by little. Well, I am serving God in our church but I can say that I have no relationship with him even though I am serving him for almost 2 years. And because of that, I walked and still walking in a wrong way. I can't find my self, my true self. I always ask my self "Who Am I?" "What is my purpose in this world?" Like, God. Can't see me? I am hurt. I can't find my self anymore. I don't know how to smile, I don't know how to trust again because I don't even trust my self anymore. I am afraid and I don't know what to do. I am so extremely insecure and it makes me so self-conscious. All my life I have sought for love and acceptance from people. And I want to stop now. I just want God to love me and accept me and make me completely His, fill me with His love and life. I am so tired of trying to fit in, trying to make others like me, trying to make a good impression etc. And depression..oh, I had so many thoughts of just taking my life because I felt like I will never make it. It feels like prison and I want to be set really free so that I can love God with all my heart and then love people with His love. But how do you get there, from a place of brokenness and fear and insecurity to quiet confidence and love of God?
