As always I’m Diggin your track Chris!!! Visiting your videos , I always learn something new! The chromatic runs for me are tough for me to improvise, but I’m getting better at it! lol! Thanks for sharing! PeAce mate✌🏻😎☮️ Dana E💫🇺🇸✌🏻
Dear Chris, this is a very interesting series. Especially this chromatic concept here. A lot of this is manageable on the guitar… of course with the typical limitation. Thanks for sharing !! You are a great educator 🍀
Dear Chris, a lovely Monday morning greetings from me. Listening to you here. You have a good night and a wonderful week ahead 🙏💖🤗 You're most welcome Chris, my pleasure!!! 17:45
Every time I hear things like at 10:15ff, I realize just how limited my chord vocabulary is. Man... all those years playing lead guitar have left me wanting
Thanks for watching, Liam!!!! Sorry my tutorials aren't terribly helpful on guitar. But I know a guitarist who if he's playing in A minor will play a riff in A minor and then play it in Bb minor and then resolve back to A minor to give that "outside' vibe a lot of modern jazz guitarists like.
😮😮Beautiful melody progress
Thank you, Rin!!!!

Thanks, Rainfield!!!!! (I've heard sliding up or down a fret with a pattern or chord shape works, but I'm no guitar teacher!)

Thanks, Blu!!!! I like your lead playing!
@@chrisdurhammusicchannel That's probably because you're too nice
Of course, on guitar it just means moving a shape down 1 fret at a time. It sometimes runs the risk of sounding a bit Pink Pantherish 😂
