Man. The wife and I were fixin to purchase a clackaraft at the end of the year, but now after seeing your other video we’re considering a raft more seriously. We do more fly fishing and would want to vertical braces, but this is good to see how well the raft works with your setup.
Raft frames are endless and safer rigs. The customization is fun too! My raft frame is only half done . I’ll be adding full floor throughout this year and bow seat and stern seat on a swivel
You know I have talked about taking my little girl all the time fishing. Best times we had were on the Cowlitz in my little 12 footer and camping on our way down from the Barrier Damn to I 5. She's 40 now and still shares the same memories as me. Good Dad you are. Fish on Ron.

Okuma guide select pro 7’6” 8-15 lb test. Basically a short heavier rod. But that’s the rod I use. If your budget is tight there’s a ton of 7’ range rods that are heavy . You want a short rod that’s rated around 15 lb or 20 lb
@@FishingTheOdds yeah I hear ya. Seems like almost every video is a catch n cook. I personally smoke all the salmon I catch on the river. Regardless I enjoy watching 👍🎣
