Thankyou so much for the info I am a first time trainer, I once had an Akita though had it military trained to protect the family while I worked away now I have adopted a ridgeback X mastiff X staffy and your videos are giving me a great deal of advice to owning and training such an adorable companion
Does that include nighttime as well for the first week? What about setting an alarm for 4 hours from when you sleep? And again when you wake up in the morning?
Thanks for watching. We'd recommend removing their access to water about an hour before bed and taking them out before you put them to bed. This should help get them through to the morning. Then obviously take them out in the morning and give them their water back, hope that helps!

Mine was fully house trained by the time she was 3 months ths old. I got her at 8 weeks. She was very easy to house train.
