I get your interpretation, but it’s kinda the opposite. He’s pretty much saying he’s all she thinks about, and the dude she’s currently with is just there to distract her from him, but its not working. He’s all she thinks about, and he’s taking advantage of that. But he is saying that’s a bad thing, he’s not the one for her because he’s toxic, which is why the song is called moth to a flame, cause moths die when they’re attracted to flames lmao. Great reaction though

no he's saying that insted of going back and fourth like they always do, he's just ganna let her go. And he does, since shes with the new guy.. but she not truly over him, thats why he mentions "pictures you keep, calling me while he sleeps". She still looks to him for comfort, but cries because he is not with her anymore and he is not taking her back even though he can just call her and get her back. The whole theme of the dawn is him moving on from his ex's. you can hear the theme in the new music.. the tones are more up beat... the tempo is wayyy higher than his usual 80 bpm style. HOWEVER even though the dawn is upon us and he is moving on, and the tones are brighter... there is still a bittersweetness to it, it's sad.. infact it's even more sad because it's supposed to be happy, like a victory almost. But it's the END, because he accepted things for what they are, he isn't doing it for himself anymore he is doing it for her. The selfish weekend, is being selfless for the first time in his music. And that is why it's so sad and hits hard because its THE END of that melancholy era.

yes, I'm excited for the tour my husband promised me it's happening for us no matter what ! I cried my eyballs out girl....but right now its a wait thing bcus all tours are canceldd and the ones who did get tickets will be refunded back but they'llbe first priority when the tcikets do go on sale again.

@@SulySolano If All goes well he would tour to New Jersey as was expected originally in February which got canceled 😞 it was the ONLY ONE City IN NJ he was touring. Only one time can you believe? Thats why I think that maybe he decided to scratch the whole thing and add new cities and states because the demand.. I also read not only is he doing After Hours he's also doing a compilation of his other songs.
