In one of your lessons, you talked about drought tolerant plants and what drought tolerant means. Well, I’ll be darned! This whole time, I thought I didn’t have to give regular watering to my drought tolerant jujube tree and so, for the past 3 years, my tree would bloom so beautifully, but the blooms would dry up and die. For the past 3 years, I have not had 1 fruit off my tree. Then you made a comment that a drought tolerant plant will survive with little water, but if you want fruits, then it needs to be watered consistently. And so for the past 2 months, I have given my tree regular watering and now I have thousands of fruits!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Love your Channel and Newsletters! Very helpful. Finally made it to your Nursery yesterday! Impressive! Fabulous staff, too. I was armed with a list and they helped me get everything. I’ll definitely be back; next time bringing my neighbor! Thank you so much!! Happy 4th, Gary and Staff. ❤️🇺🇸❤️

Do you have any videos on planting persimmons in the ground from a nursery pot?

Last year my 8 year old Jiro and Imoto persimmon trees had 150 giant fruit each . This year the fruit is mostly at the top . New growth everywhere . Next year should have a big number of fruit ?

Can I keep jujubes small for a back yard orchard?

I've read it is the temperature of the
root system of the Jujube that makes them break dormantcy. Any truth to that?

Just a small correction. "Fuyugaki" just means "Fuyu Persimmon". Dried persimmons are called "Hoshigaki". :)
