As a Korean, thank you very much for telling the truth of Unit 731.
Japan has not yet admitted their atrocities.
The officers of Unit 731 were not punished but rather lived as heroes in Japan. They still remember the war criminals of the Pacific War as heroes. In another case,
they denied compensation for victims of forced labor during the Japanese colonial period in Korea and enforced export restrictions to Korea. I am impressed that the Japanese atrocities became known to Indians.

You should be proud! The Indian troops were, I think, the bravest of all! I am Canadian, and while Canada had "independence" by WW2, the gov't was very much controlled by Britain and The House of Lords made all the federal decisions here until 1982. Thousands of Canadians, but many, many MORE thousands of Indians died and/or suffered in camps after being sent early in the war, without much support, to protect places like Hong Kong, Burma, Malaysia and Singapore. It is shameful that even after WW2 Britain was so reluctant to give India independence.

@Kao rin In times of the post WWII, the US and USSR spent considerable amount of money in hiring and continuing the experiments of the Japanese and German scientists. Who can forget the V-2 Rockets. USSR used it to have their own version of it and helped the Chinese build rockets. Then the Chinese come up with DF rockets that is also a superior version of the V-2s. So let us not forget what the German and Japanese scientists have contributed to the US and USSR in exchange for acquittal because if the US had got itself occupied with punishing war criminals, who would have helped make the Apollo space missions. Von Braun is an important name in this context.
So to say that this committees found nothing can simply be attributed to the background contribution they provided. So it is obvious as to why the Japanese and Nazis were acquitted of war crimes.
Now in your terms whoever were acquitted weren't guilty. I suggest you watch "Greatest events of WWII" by netflix, study "Operation Paperclip" and lot more materials available online. But these contents are available only if you remove your jingoistic lenses.
@Kao rin And by that if you mean the Chinese has been successful, I need to tell you that the answer is NO. For one instance, even if we believe the Chinese propaganda was successful to digress world attention to different issues, the answer is NO. We still know about the Illegal Tibet Annexation, China's Salami Slicing Policy, Mischievous Galwan Valley issue, and most importantly its notorious Tiananmen Square protests and more. We forgot nothing sister.
Furthermore, now I understood why we read in our books that Japan built its economy from scratch post WWII because they were die-hard nationalists. Well that isn't the case. The Japanese govt. have successfully created a propaganda where they are whitewashed and all the blame is on the Chinese. Let us not unlearn that the Nanjing Massacre, Comfort Women, Unit 731 issues are real. Notably, memorials of Comfort Women are not just in China, but also in your beloved US, South Korea, Philippines and more. All of them are not altogether performing Chinese Propaganda Policy.
The bigger question here is when will you learn that Japan was also not anyone better than present day China. Japan committed crimes and assume it to be a Tit for Tat that it was equally retributed. Now I don't support any war criminals but my main intent is you people are still so ignorant about your past. You like to play the blame game.
See, we don't mind you for the war crimes committed in the past because you evolved and feel sorry for the crimes and that is what is important. But now I think you aren't really sorry for the past but just play the China-China game.

No sir. Once the Japanese army surrendered US made an offer with Shiro Ishi. The offer was to pardon him in exchange for his biological findings he obtained from these labs. That's how Shiro skipped the trial. Though, later on he died of cancer.
