      Michele and I sold MTF in August of 2020, the owner doesn't answer technical questions. We opened up Patriot Classic 4x4 doing 66-77 Bronco's.

    Do you have to modify any of the interior for this to fit? Seems like the back bottom bracket (that you recommend putting in last) would move quite a bit. Does it change the corner and side panel attachment at all? Thanks.

    • @MustangstoFear
      @MustangstoFear  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You do not have to modify the interior. These are for a fastback model.

      @@MustangstoFear What about the back point where the lower corner piece attaches to the wheelhouse? That part seems fixed, but maybe it doesn't really move?

    Are you running a four or three link on this build? Aren’t you still limited by the factory leaf spring? Why add a tub. If you can only go in as far as the spring will allow?

    • @RS-gh2mf
      @RS-gh2mf 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We are running our Watt's link on this build. You are limited to a maximum 245 if you stay with the leaf springs. With the mini tubs you can go with a 275. Michele and I sold MTF last August, we started a new company called Patriot Classic 4x4 doing 66-77 Bronco's. I won't be answering questions anymore.

    wish this video starts where you show some of the cutting off the old wheel housing process, hard to see the details of the edge and cut line on this video, but I'm still interested in these mini tubs but I'm installing the heidts 4-link rear end and the
    bolt-in brackets on the frame rails may interfere with yours or anyone elses minitubs?, I do know the heidts 4-link wont allow you to bring the wheel inward whatsoever because of all the interference with the mounting brackets on the frame rail, whats you thought on this since I've seen you install heidts 4-links rear ends as well. so all I can do is take advantage of the square corners that your wheel tubs have to offer and give me maybe more tire space but not wheel space.

    • @MustangstoFear
      @MustangstoFear  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We now make our own MTF Watt's link. With ours we moved the mounting brackets to the inside of the frame rails compared to Heidt's, which have them on the outside. By doing this it gained us another 3 inches of clearance :)

    would these work with a 68 coupe and still retain the factory rear seat?

    • @hotrodmtf
      @hotrodmtf 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes they would, but you would need to notch them in the front to clear. We have pictures of it on our website.

    What size tire are guys getting with a 67 fastback? With leaf spings? I'm guessing a 275 35 18 maybe 295 with leave enough room for side to side sidewall flex.

    • @RS-gh2mf

      That's questionable, if the Falcon takes the same rear tubs as the Mustangs, then they would work. Michele and I sold MTF last August, I won't be answering questions anymore.

      On a 69-70 you should be able to go with a 315 tire. I have customers going that size even on the 67-68 with no interior modification.
