Love both and carried both for duty and personal use. I believe the compact sig is just a hair beater than the Glock or more specifically the Glock 19, but I wish the sig had a trigger safety like the Glock. I know they made a few for some LE organizations in the past but not in the regular lineup. Good comparison!

Thank you! I completely agree about the P320 trigger. As light as it is, it should have some extra safety mechanism. That's why I got the M17 with the manual safety.

@@mongooseguns2679 I’m a huge fan of the M18 myself. I like the looks of the M17 better, but for some reason I’m more accurate with the shorter slide, which goes against conventional wisdom.

@@Duty2Domicile Haha well that could be because the longer slide P320s are fairly front-heavy due to the design. I noticed the shorter slides for them balance a lot better, which probably gives you that better aiming stability.
