Seeing the aftermath of Beryl was humbling, but viewing this video today and being allowed to walk through it via the shared experiences moved me to tears and praise for God's mercies to each and every family affected.
The song service was truly a blessing to me as I joined in with a heart of gratitude for the Lord's goodness towards His children, as He, through them, reminded the world that He's God in the good and bad times.
Those of us who escaped have so much to give thanks for. I am one who surely understood if it was allowed to move any closer in land to where I am presently living in Barbados , the roof would have lifted, and it was affected slightly.
Blessngs to you and your family and in a very big way to all who are trying to go forward by God's amazing grace.
    Thank you.

Very well said Mr. John. Jesus was with you and your family indeed. You were very articulate and clear in describing your experience during the hurricane. Yes, in Jesus Mighty Name, all will be well. You shall recover it all. Once there is life, there is hope. Thanks for sharing. You are all in my prayers.❤‍🩹🙏

Sad but there are lessons to be learned .This grey turban brother,s home has a good foundation but the top structure needed the following .Steel coming from the foundation so there can be concrete post structures 8 feet apart in a hurricane zone .The perimeter beam should be bolted down .The rafters too bolted town not nailed .Finally stop using galvanized zinc sheets use aluminum and dont nail down bolt down .Trusting God for the good health of u and family

May God have mercy on SVG and the people of Union Island. May each and everyone see God is in this Storm and turn their lives over to him. God is still merciful. 🙏

From the video, one can see that most of those people have already turned their lives over to this god, but yet this god didn't protect them. And, how could they still thank this god after all that?! It doesn't make any sense to me!

How could they still thank this god after all that destruction, and losing everything?! It doesn't make any sense to me! Is it because it's a cultural thing and habit from childhood that they grew up with?

Throughout that devastation in the Caribbean, only 11 people died. The islands were decimated, but the people faith are their strength, not earthly materials.
Its positive and unity that keeping them striving forward.
We see many young people have a mental meltdown if they lose their phones, Covid-19 lockdown etc, so if they were to lose everything like those islanders, imagine the situation, stress, doom and gloom in the community. No electronic, food, their whole way of life stopped - what do they fall back on with no unity. Some people in developing countries take things for granted and live in a utopia of 'Me' society
Do not question life; everyone situation can change in the blink of an eye.
The world with all its wars, etc.
The people in Union other islands, strength, and singing will survive.
      God bless them 🙏
