I tried using non fungal acne safe shampoo and conditioner since I thought I was in the clear and it flared right back up 😢

I've also been loving the MCT oil i use to wash my face in my hair while it's still wet! I think antibiotics caused mine, but I'm not completely sure. It's so annoying!!
@@prozacne Oh wait you use the oil to wash your hair or do you put it in your hair as a leave in? I was actually using MCT oil with a bit of tea tree to manage my dandruff flareups! But I’d love to know more of its uses. I know right?! I’m glad fungal acne is being more talked about though. Thank you for spreading the awareness!!

I use it as a leave in after washing! But now you’ve given me the idea to try double cleansing my scalp with it lol

What makes a product fungal acne safe? Is there a particular ingredient that is in most products that irritates fungal acne?
mostly fatty acids, butters, waxes and oils feed the fungi…they’re in a lot of skincare and makeup products! I use SkinSort to check ingredients
