I have a crochet pincushion (what else 😂) but i think it's not got any 'substance'. Like wadding or padding isnt enough because it has no weight. I rather fancy one that is filled with sand, nice and weighty and apparently sharpens up the pins 👍🏻

Because your pincushion is so lovely,you could always put the pins on the back to 'stand'the pincushion up when your not using it and still display the embroidery!!😂Thanks again for inspiring us!!xx

Sorry to keep harping on about your embroidery 😂 but could you say which stitches you mainly use.... If any🤷♀️ like, is there a basic start, or is this a really stupid question 😂 indulge an old lady😋. The little bird is so flipping cute Lilly👍
Hi, no need to be sorry and not a stupid question ☀️ I mainly use back stitch ( easy beginner stitch) or stem stitch for stems or around leaves on larger designs. Basically you are stitching along the lines of the pattern or transfer. The bird was just back stitch so that would be a good start for you. I also use French knots for centre of flowers but that’s a bit harder. If you search embroidery stitch tutorial on TH-cam there are loads of videos showing the stitches being sewn close up and they are also really relaxing to watch! I watch them before I go to sleep 😂 I hope that helps! 🌼🌸🌿
