Until I saw this comment I had literally no idea what Thieving Slinkers actually did. I’ve only seen them once on floor 10, and only 2 or 3 actually spawned and they were gone in like 30 seconds.
I’ve been playing the Scarescraper nonstop lately! I got all the rare ghosts, I just need the Skelegoob and the mime Goob. I have like almost 2000 of those normal Goobs, goes to show ya how much I’ve played. Luigi’s Mansion 3 is my favorite Nintendo Switch game!
I beat the normal now I’m gonna attempt scarescraper or whatever that is
Skelegoob is in the museum. Sometimes you need a key 🔑 and sometimes you get lucky with the darksaber . 3 day ago I caught 7 mergoob by luck . I'm having trouble with dico and mummy Hammers
Also the hardest part is when your vaccum is taken away by the ghost and its the floor where you gotta collect money and the toads . Sometimes I have good teammates sometimes I don't, I can tell their children that have no basic skills of being a good team player. I hope you do get all the ghost. I haven't beaten the 2 last bosses cause I want to get the high score by catching alll those rare ghost then fight the bosses

The boos have names since the first Luigi's Mansion, 21 years ago.
New Rare Ghost Types:
Medic: Can Recover Any Ghost's Damage.
Diffusing: Can Summon Mini Ghosts To Help.
Electric: Can Zap And (Maybe) Stun You.
Warp: Can Teleport To An Diffirent Place In The Arena.
You got 1 incorrect, Diffusing: Vomits mini versions of themselves everywhere.

Or better yet, new DLC. A secret elevator panel with B3, B4, and B5, AKA cold storage, VIP Lounge, and Hotel Foundation. B5 is like the ultimate ghost hunting test.
Do you mean the actual hotel? You can still encounter rare ghosts in ScareScraper if you‘re playing alone. I caught six Regen Goobs yesterday by myself.

Bomb ghosts are most likely dangerous. They rather throw bombs, bomb smash or hit you with a bomb.
Speed ghosts get you crazy!
Medic goobs regenerate other ghosts make sure you have to be quick!

You wanna know what my plan was there? Having Gooigi sucking idly so any flashed mini ghosts get automatically sucked in. I also passed the slinker to Gooigi to get him away from Prosafia.
Jacob Mitchell thanks. I have other Gooigi-oriented tactics as well. The best ones are splitting up the two for easier oozer capture, putting Luigi by the door and having Gooigi go into a big room so you can leave immediately, and having Gooigi go up a long hallway to rescue someone so you reduce run time. The best usage comes in the money collecting. Lastly, using Gooigi in the boolossus fight lets you have someone on both sides of the battlefield so you can be ready wherever the boos drop
This is what rare ghosts do:
Speed Goob: Runs (floats) faster
Speed Hammer: Melee attacks faster
Speed Oozer: Throws faster
Bomb Goob: Holds bombs
Bomb Hammer: Repeatedly throws bombs
Bomb Oozer: Holds bombs, throws bombs when trying to get out of nozzle of Poltergust G-00
Regen Goob/Hammer/Slinker: Regenerates HP when took damage
Lethal Goob/Hammer/Oozer/Slinker: Attacks stronger and has more HP than normal ghosts
Thieving Slinker: Steals your Poltergust G-00
Medic Goob: Regenerates other ghost’s HP
Electric Oozer: Throws balls of electricity
Diffusing Goob: Throws up Mini Goobs
Diffusing Hammer: Throws up Mini Hammers
Warp Slinker: Teleports

They have 4 different types of ghosts. You should know that. Here I will let you know. Goobs, hammers, oozers and sinkers. Here it is but 3 more to let you know. Trapper, mini goob and mini hammer. Even dlc ghosts.
I got 3 Lethal Oozers in floor 5 while I was playing in 10 floor mode but when I reached floor 8, the software closed cause an error occurred. I thought the Lethal Oozers were deleted but luckily for me, the game saved the Lethal Oozers.
Funnily enough the game saves each floor data after it’s completed, which explains why you get the coins from some floors, or even an achievement afterwards
Damn thats lucky, i got into a secret room with a bunch of disco hammers, i captured one or two, but then i fainted and somehow all of the 3 other players also fainted, and when i checked my gallery they werent there

You know, I've been playing Scarescraper so much, that I bought the DLC and now I have all the ghosts! I'm close to 100 percent. I just need to beat Boolossus a few more times, then I have 100 percent! I'll play 5 floors to make defeating Boolossus achevment easier. I'm also adding additional ghosts! This game is awesome.

I got an idea for a third DLC (if they ever make one that is) I have 6 great themes
Boiler works: Engineer outfit, greesemonkey goobs, and metal hammers.
Hotel shops: Security guard outfit, merchant goobs, and slinkers wearing thief outfits.
Great Stage: pianist outfit, maestro and orchestra themed goobs
Garden Suites: outfit similar to Dr, Potter's outfit, botanist goobs, and plant themed oozers or animal themed hammers.
Paranormal Productions: director outfit, (don't know what theme for the ghosts though)
Fitness Center (sports theme): workout outfit, workout goobs, and body builder hammers
Think about it.
Best goob is Medic
Best hammer is Diffusing
Best oozer is Electric
Best Slinker is Warp

I just realized that Trapper is the only non-boss ghost in the entire game to not get any variants of itself.
Unfortunately you have to pay DLC which is ok I personally recommend the DLC pack you get all DLC and a cool flashlight

I just fought some diffusing hammers and it was the same FPS as normal.
I gought 1 or 2 of the Diffusing Goobs and it went perfectly fine for me
I think with only the goobs did my FPS went down

I know what Lethal Ghosts do. They have the same attacks as the normal ones, but the attacks do much more damage.
They 1 hit KO you, no matter how much HP you have.

I went and played scare scraper and I finially caught the block red ghost as a mummy my daughter wanted but when I went into my regular story to put them in the collection it wasn’t there and my regular ghost section there’s only 7 spots to put ghosts and I have them filled so if I get any other regular ghosts is there a way to keep them ? Because idk how and for some reason level 5 on scare scraper when I get a ghost there I get to keep it anywhere else or any other levels I don’t I’m confused and I can’t keep any more regular ghosts why? Why do I only have 7 containers for regular ghosts when other ppl have way more then me ? I think there’s 20 slots for regular ghosts here on ur game but mine is only 7? And I caught the mermaid the block red mummy the blue one in a tux like I don’t understand why I don’t get to keep them!

Hi the hammer disco ghost, no matter how many ways I try to catch it , I always end up fainting and my team never comes when I call out over here .
What is the best way to catch the Disco Hammer ? No matter what technique I use I always end up fainting no one comes to help. It's toooooo powerful. But I keep trying.

Do any of you guys know the fastest way to catch these ghosts? I’ve been playing for so long and I can’t get certain ones to appear even though I have the right outfit.
for some of them, you have to find a secret door that you need to reveal
and with the glasses it will appear as a transparent purple
@@FaithYippee Yeah I figured that out. Just have to find a room on the map that’s not showing and just try to reveal it on different sides. This game was really fun 😁
If there was a guide showing the form of the map in witch every dlc ghost appears that would be cool.
The themed ghosts appear on the floors with the same themes (someone on the team needs to wear a costume for its respective floor theme to appear)
The new Rare ghosts appear randomly on intervals of 5 floors
@@OriginalGameteer I know! The thing is that When those ghost are on the floor for example, they dont count for a "capture the ghost", also they're in a room mostly hidden... Once I found the room but the others didn't care for the "help" call or "over here" and kept on capturing the other ghost and I couldn't beat a group of special hammers on my own caught by surprise.... So it's a hassle. :/
