I recently became unemployed for the first time in 25+ years and, my God, what a terrible experience "signing on" has been so far. There's absolutely no respect for the fact you've contributed well over 100K in taxes during previous employment for example. And you're expected to get by on less than a tenner a day, all the while being threatened with sanctions, a 30% cut to the payment, if you're not doing enough to find work in their opinion. It's an ugly draconian system that exudes negativity, opting for the stick rather than the carrot when dealing with the citizens. There are also more security guards than job centre employees, and they're not particularly friendly either! Just another example of how sh*te our society has become.
What a contrast to years ago. People could visit the job centre, tell them your experience and qualifications. They would then send you three suitable vacancies with interview info within a week.
When I was young they never had security at the dole office but now frustrated people take it out on staff when in reality they are only doing their job.

Kier Stamer thinks businesses are bottomless pits of money. As an owner of a very small business (4 people) I work the hardest and do the longest hours. I now find myself with less money than the people who work for me as the government claws the money from me. I can understand why others will just give up and either retire early or go and work for Tescos.
Happened to us in 2007 and 2008 here in the USA. We got no income from our business in order to keep our employees paid - less than 10. It showed on the books that we were paid but every penny was loaned back to the business. Yeah, we got to pay income taxes on money that never made it to our bank account. Liberal governments don't work for those of us who work, they appear to want to only make laws that benefit the leaches so that they can control them. Control peoples' housing and food and they will do whatever you ask in order to keep having a home and food. It is all about controlling the people who live in the country, taking away our freedoms.

Friend of mine runs a very successful cafe and restaurant in a small Welsh town. It employs 12 people and is a popular and busy location. He and his other half have decided they will be closing it before April next year as all the recent hits and now this clusterfeck are going to mean its more stress than reward, so they are going to wrap it up having to lay of 12 people in a place where jobs are not falling off the tree. This is all part of the plan though isnt it, to destroy small business and make way for Amazonland, you will own nothing and you will be happy.
It’s hilarious the British showing how they feel against the government. I know they’ll ignore it but it’s giving me a nice chuckle inside. Now passed 2 million
If this petition gets over 10 million signatures (unlikely, but at this rate, possible), things are going to be extremely tricky for Starmer considering only 9.7 million people voted Labour in the 2024 election. I can already hear the cries of 'far right bots' and 'Russian interference'.
Of that 9.7M as well a few hundred thousand were tactical votes. So there genuine support is about 9M fuelled by the cities mostly. They are as close to damaged goods as you could get, and even in polling the tories and reform are getting about 45% combined. So Labour have ceded ground and lost all credibility

It's a lose - lose situation, 14 years of Tories destroying the country and now Labour introducing policies to make hardworking people end up paying more, or possibly face losing their jobs, along with other things. He can cure that by ending foreign aid and removing illegal immigrants.
You mean he's a liar.
The OBR said its nonsense. Best they could do, taking every marginal call into account, was £9 Bil.
Labour refuse to release how they got to their figure.
They dont need to though, BBC and other legacy media recite it verbatim anyway... 🤦🏻♂️ @@ApostleOfZeus199
Recall your MP for lying in their manifesto, supporting their party’s mismanagement of the economy, bringing in new statutes without a parliamentary vote etc. Whether your dissatisfaction on their performance is acknowledged is another matter, but a record of it is important.
Signed!
Share wherever you can, thank you 🥰
And climbing...well done all.
This old retired U.S. Navy chief petty officer across the Pond in the Pacific Northwest is -- and has been for many months -- a subscriber. Love your videos: educational, informative, interesting topics! Keep it up! I'd sign that petition if I were a Brit!
I didn’t vote for Labour in the last general election . However I have been impressed with what he has done so far .
It doesn't look bad, it is bad.

Britain is on its back ! Boarders are not boarders ! NHS is done for ! Homeless is up & some homeless go back to hospital for food & floor ! Lack of housing! Lack of care ! The lists is endless, thanks for keeping updated, so poor so sad
And boarders are not borders.
You didn't mention the farmer, private school tex and NI increase for employers!! What a mess!!!
The BBB should join Reform. He is the calibre of politician we need in Parliament.
Well past a million now !
Thank you for bringing up this petition to peoples eyes.
I didn't even know about it until I saw it on the channel
@MikSF123 pass it around
@MikSF123 I found out this afternoon and shot straight over there
I knew the budget was bad but the costings from the retail sector are truly shocking. Thank you for your coverage. I have subscribed because you are circulating sensible info. We have a big fight on our hands to remove our country from the vice (both grip and moral ) of the Labour Government.
and the WEF who seem to be controlling them! I am presuming Black Rock are cosying up to the clueless idiot in no 10 because they want the farms. Were they the ones that sold farms next to military bases to the Chinese? I can only think that they are after all that levely prime and productive farm land to put new housing estates on or sold 'farms' for all the EVs we are being forced to purchase and drive.
Unfortunatly, the UK has been in the dumps since 2016, the last Tory Government did not have the answers and gave up by calling an early General Election last July. Which political Party has the answer to solve the UKs hard to solve problems?
If this government had any moral compass, they would deport themselves.
Never have I seen such incompetent!😮
At what point do people begin to accept, that its worse than incompetence - but that, its INTENTIONAL...?
I have said before we need to adopt the Swiss government system for anything important have a referendum this is the only way to curb them from destroying our once great country.
Its going to take more than 1 million, its going to be at least 10 million+ votes to get him kicked out.
and 5 years
Yes, that will make more people voting them OUT, than voted them IN - 9.7 million I believe. We might get there, 🙏
I'll do my best. I already signed twice. I've never been British, but who cares.
