He had so many match of the year candidates and banger matches wether it was during the us open challenge era, vs rollins at SS, or even the styles Trilogy. Cena aged like fine wine in the ring and kept up with the best of them, while also being a great storyteller in the ring to put matches over the top.
Why? Did his character get less overrated after Windham passed. Not against the wrestler playing the character, but the character was always way more interesting in concept than in reality.

They literally just hand her titles a lot for no reason at times and even gave her so many accomplishments (like of course she had to be the one to end Asuka's undefeated streak). The problem with Charlotte is she has no real character. When she was the queen, it’s a clear character. A pompous 2nd generation superstar, who is infuriatingly great at wrestling. But lazy writing and constant short title reigns in an effort to beat her dad’s record is too much. And in recent memory it’s like she’s trying less and less. Just saying she got everything cuz of her dad isn’t the full scope as she has talent. But nothing about her otherwise feels compelling.
They could tone down the amount of championship matches Charlotte is given and have her help the nxt call ups as long as they dont throw a temper tantrum like toni storm.
The only thing annoying about Seth Rollins is when the fans do the chant after his music stops before the match starts or during the match it's so annoying
As far as Seth's chant goes during his opponent's promos, I feel like they should address it and use it as a way to fight back. Even though Seth is my favorite guy on the current roster, I would love to see one of his title challengers say something along the lines of "you've been hiding behind this mindless chant because you don't have what it takes to speak for yourself". Again to clarify, I think Seth is one of the greatest in-ring and on the mic, but his opponents should try to turn the chant against him so that way there's a lesser chance it keeps droning on.
This is not the best time to be a pro wrestling fan, gimmicks are dead, mic work is rare, theme songs are generic & suck, champions are part-timers, iconic moves are getting butchered, & most importantly; kayfabe is instinct .
The only good things on raw are the judgement day, Cody and Seth, they’re the only ones keeping it alive. I would say KO and Sami but they aren’t doing much at the moment as they’re both injured.

the thing about Reigns not defending the title is that he is never booked to defend it. It's not his fault that they dont book him the way they should. I don't understand your hate for Jimmy turning on Jey. It was bound to happen, I thought we generally all knew it was going to happen. Jimmy's explanation on SmackDown was chaotic and if they hugged it out in the end I'd hate it, but Jey saying "f that shit, I'm out" was great imo. They wanted to feud with each other, they stated that before, I was rooting for Jey, I would LOVE for them to make Roman lose on a different PLE than WrestleMania, cause everybody expects him to go until WrestleMania. They didn't pull the trigger, they took a different direction. That's ok tho, I'm still invested in the story, Jimmy's interference didn't feel that "forced" to me, cause I thought he was just acting on his own, not working with Roman. I like it cause if WWE does it right, they can still have the potential to make great character development (and my kind of ignorant way of booking this) For example, jimmy is scared that the tribal chief title is going to corrupt jey, but when jey returns they can let him have a title run and become the tribal chief for a bit (for a few months, doesn't have to be a long run) and throughout it jimmy wants to be in jey's corner as a way to seek forgiveness, but jey asks him to stay in the back as a way to defend his title on his own. While the defenses go on, jey finds a way to win cleanly against all contenders, but still show appreciation to the crowd for the support. But eventually jey learns to forgive jimmy and decides he wants to be tag team and wwe champ. While they do put up a good fight, they lose the match, but instead of blaming jimmy for it, jey says it's no ones fault and tells jimmy to keep his head up. Also, instead a post match beatdown, the usos shake hands with their opponents, with jey extending the hand first. Slowly, jimmy realizes that just because roman was corrupted with power, doesn't mean jey will be that way, as he is not that kind of person deep down. idk how the title should be taken off of jey, and jimmy thinks that the true way to being forgiven is through proving his worth to jey in a 1v1 match at mania That's all i really got for how i would book around this, sorry for it being so long 😅

People need to stop equating in-ring ability with a number of moves. If a match is a painting, the number of moves is how many colors are being used. If a person can put together an impactful image with 5-10 colors, it will be more memorable than someone who took every paint available and smeared it into a brownish mess.

I dont think RAW being 3 hours is whats making it bad Its the writing and structure of the show. With good storytelling and order, it would be a great. 1. Multiple interesting storyline 2. Longer matches 3. A good balance between segments and matches 4. Always showcase talent in rotation order. Stop using the same wrestlers no matches that has no purpose 5. Use that 3rd hour to showcase the World TItle (Men and Women). That 2nd hour could be use to build up IC & Tag Titles. That 1st hour could be used for non title rivals, new stars introduction, events that leads to the main event (3rd hour)

The problem with Charlotte is she has no real character. When she was the queen, it’s a clear character. A pompous 2nd generation superstar, who is infuriatingly great at wrestling. But lazy writing and constant short title reigns in an effort to beat her dad’s record is too much. And in recent memory it’s like she’s trying less and less. Just saying she got everything cuz of her dad isn’t the full scope as she has talent. But nothing about her otherwise feels compelling.
They could tone down the amount of championship matches Charlotte is given and have her help the nxt call ups as long as they dont throw a temper tantrum like toni storm.

As far as Seth's chant goes during his opponent's promos, I feel like they should address it and use it as a way to fight back. Even though Seth is my favorite guy on the current roster, I would love to see one of his title challengers say something along the lines of "you've been hiding behind this mindless chant because you don't have what it takes to speak for yourself". Again to clarify, I think Seth is one of the greatest in-ring and on the mic, but his opponents should try to turn the chant against him so that way there's a lesser chance it keeps droning on.

the thing about Reigns not defending the title is that he is never booked to defend it. It's not his fault that they dont book him the way they should. I don't understand your hate for Jimmy turning on Jey. It was bound to happen, I thought we generally all knew it was going to happen. Jimmy's explanation on SmackDown was chaotic and if they hugged it out in the end I'd hate it, but Jey saying "f that shit, I'm out" was great imo. They wanted to feud with each other, they stated that before, I was rooting for Jey, I would LOVE for them to make Roman lose on a different PLE than WrestleMania, cause everybody expects him to go until WrestleMania. They didn't pull the trigger, they took a different direction. That's ok tho, I'm still invested in the story, Jimmy's interference didn't feel that "forced" to me, cause I thought he was just acting on his own, not working with Roman. The worst thing about it WWE telling us in Tribal Combat there are no interferences allowed. For example, jimmy is scared that the tribal chief title is going to corrupt jey, but when jey returns they can let him have a title run and become the tribal chief for a bit (for a few months, doesn't have to be a long run) and throughout it jimmy wants to be in jey's corner as a way to seek forgiveness, but jey asks him to stay in the back as a way to defend his title on his own. While the defenses go on, jey finds a way to win cleanly against all contenders, but still show appreciation to the crowd for the support. But eventually jey learns to forgive jimmy and decides he wants to be tag team and wwe champ. While they do put up a good fight, they lose the match, but instead of blaming jimmy for it, jey says it's no ones fault and tells jimmy to keep his head up. Also, instead a post match beatdown, the usos shake hands with their opponents, with jey extending the hand first. Slowly, jimmy realizes that just because roman was corrupted with power, doesn't mean jey will be that way, as he is not that kind of person deep down. idk how the title should be taken off of jey, and jimmy thinks that the true way to being forgiven is through proving his worth to jey in a 1v1 match at mania

The seeds were planted a long time ago.

If a match is a painting, the number of moves is how many colors are being used. If a person can put together an impactful image with 5-10 colors, it will be more memorable than someone who took every paint available and smeared it into a brownish mess.
