Hey, for your challenge videos, what would you say to making two different tiers? 1 for people who are on any Elden Ring leaderboard and another for more casual players? I mean hell, now you could make two videos from each challenge you do. It'd make the challenge more inviting for less experienced players, and speed runners with honor would be willing to join as to not crush all the newbs. You could honestly probably get people like Bushy, Aggy, Squilla, and Gino involved if you did something like this. You also probably could change the prize pools if you did it like this.

It's elegant and saddening, as father and daughter probably trained together when Malenia was learning the art of war, before Miquella left the Golden Order and she left with him. It is possible Malenia was secretly preparing herself to destroy Radagon for Miquella one day, and that Radagon was resolved to raise his hammer against his daughter one last time.

She could just seal her enemies away, or throw powerful curses at them (looked at what happened to Gransax), or just awe them by her sheer presence. Radagon was the warrior- he is called a champion and has a history of fought wars, after all- while Marika was very much the sovereign, distant god looking down on all beneath her.
Radagon might not actually be that strong as a warrior. If he were, Marika wouldn't have needed Godfrey to destroy the Stormlord and the Giants. He was also unable to defeat Rennala and was additionally spoken of as a 'mere champion'. It was generally regarded as a surprise that he ascended to the Elden throne at all. Maliketh and Godfrey were Marika's warriors. Radagon's power was of a more mystical and ontological nature- with the way he sealed the Erdtree, imposed Order on the Lands Between after an age of war, was responsible for a 'Regression' that Marika was fighting against and was a smith capable of potentially mending the Elden Ring.

It's actually more of a weird amalgamation of Radagon, aspects of Marika that Radagon can now access from the reassimilation despite Marika still opposing him, and the Elden Beast. When Radagon was separate from Marika, he was tied with Rennala, whose Phase 2 construct is probably sufficiently accurate to her real self, considering the Remembrance that results from defeating it. Marika was probably a war god, considering that she's the most likely person to have taught Melina the fighting style of the Numen women who became the Black Knife Assassins, and the hammer is Marika's own, not Radagon's weapon. In addition to these skills, Marika wields the Elden Ring. Finally, the black energy making up part of Radagon's body is implied to be the Elden Beast, hence why the Phase 2 cutscene plays out the way it does. With that in mind, the Elden Beast is just as present as Radagon in Phase 1, and the Elden Beast is responsible for Radagon being able to do a lot of his techniques, or perhaps even move in general.

I saw somewhere that parrying is an "easy" and "consistent" way to beat radabeast, spent way too much time trying to beat the boss with parrying , could not beat it, tried once without parrying and beat it first try with flasks to spare.
An absolute CRIME that we dont get some kind of variant of Radagon's holy spears from the Elden Remembrance. I'd settle for spear into ticking AOE or the throw into embed/explosion

Regarding unused moves, did Radagon also have a technique where he raised his left hand and a circular aura of energy appeared on the ground? I once saw a gif of Radagon doing that technique over a year ago, but I've never encountered it in any battles with him. The only other time I've seen a technique like that was in a different modder's video, where he experimented with a move that was supposedly a scrapped healing AOE for Radagon. Ever since then, I've wondered whether that move was created outright by modders or was something that went unused but stayed in the game's code, a la the Tree Sentinels' variant of Holy Ground. For your next video, I think the Crucible Knight could be fun to show first due to it being a normal enemy that will have to manage with its varied move pool and shield. After the Crucible Knight video, the Mohg run could be a return to a formidable boss, and the Crucible Knight video being between the Radagon and Mohg ones might better emphasize its unique aspects. Also, while you've already recorded the footage by now, I'm curious if you alternated between Ordovis-style and Siluria-style knights, and if you played as the in-game Crucible Knights to use their unique stat distributions in response to major challenges.

@@AmazingChest it's hilarious you say that because I just had a TH-cam short pop up speaking of working out and how you need to make sure you get proper rest. Basically if you train hard you need to rest hard for best results. Guess that goes for content making as well

Hey thanks for the suggestion, I’ve heavily considered this, and some of the issues that come to mind are: 1. Leaderboard players having no honor and competing under different names. 2. Structure of the video: two different videos for the same challenge in the same game wouldn’t make sense from a content creation/viewership standpoint. One longer video following 3 or 4 different competitors don’t usually perform well compared to a 1v1 standpoint (see Sekiro video for example) which leads me to believe that people don’t want to watch that. 3. The prize pool would need to be reduced for each party in order for the video to remain profitable which would make the challenge less appealing for competitors. All things considered, I really do want to try this out and the most successful iteration of it that I’ve done was undoubtedly the Most Bosses in an Hour Elden Ring challenge where I had incentives for casuals and shouted them out at the end. Only problem there is average viewer duration as most people click off at the end of the main race. Excuse the wall of text, there’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes of the videos and I’m always experimenting and trying to figure out what the best format is for viewers and competitors. Let me know if you have any thoughts about any of this.
Ideas! Beat Elden Ring as Lichdragon Fortissax, even maybe Placidusax! Beat Dark Souls III (and if possible Elden Ring) as Darkeater Midir, Gael, and/or Aldrich. You can also try beat Bloodborne as a boss, maybe. And upload Mohg first!
Mohg. No question about it. Also... I have to ask. How do the movesets work? Is it like playing as Master Hand in Melee, and you press odd button commands? Like D-Pad Up and like... L1? Edit: Radagon looks like a lot of fun to play as.... Seems oddly a thoughtful boss to play as. I mean, sure. The teleport is kind of busted. But he has a lot of really cool moves to dodge with. It looks like he would be satisfying to master.

What are all the mods you need to play as boss throughout the game?
can you give us a tutorial how to actually spawn the enemies in so we can take control of them?
none of those mods are updated, you use cheat engine and what not for boss spawning thats fine, but enemy control doesn't work as of latest update
@@StonedOrange I know we use cheat engine... but there isn't a tutorial out there on how to actually do that with cheat engine :/ I haven't had any success.
@@Desoato yeah found that the boss spawning cheat engine table needs an update too as does enemy control mod. Sucks cause I wanted to mess around with it

Hey, for your challenge videos, what would you say to making two different tiers? 1 for people who are on any Elden Ring leaderboard and another for more casual players? I mean hell, now you could make two videos from each challenge you do.
It'd make the challenge more inviting for less experienced players, and speed runners with honor would be willing to join as to not crush all the newbs. You could honestly probably get people like Bushy, Aggy, Squilla, and Gino involved if you did something like this.
You also probably could change the prize pools if you did it like this.
Hey thanks for the suggestion, I’ve heavily considered this, and some of the issues that come to mind are:
1. Leaderboard players having no honor and competing under different names.
2. Structure of the video: two different videos for the same challenge in the same game wouldn’t make sense from a content creation/viewership standpoint. One longer video following 3 or 4 different competitors don’t usually perform well compared to a 1v1 standpoint (see Sekiro video for example) which leads me to believe that people don’t want to watch that.
3. The prize pool would need to be reduced for each party in order for the video to remain profitable which would make the challenge less appealing for competitors.
All things considered, I really do want to try this out and the most successful iteration of it that I’ve done was undoubtedly the Most Bosses in an Hour Elden Ring challenge where I had incentives for casuals and shouted them out at the end. Only problem there is average viewer duration as most people click off at the end of the main race. Excuse the wall of text, there’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes of the videos and I’m always experimenting and trying to figure out what the best format is for viewers and competitors. Let me know if you have any thoughts about any of this.
beat the game as the Elden Beast
That’s cool and all but can you beat the game as the soldier of godrick?
Ideas! Beat Elden Ring as Lichdragon Fortissax, even maybe Placidusax! Beat Dark Souls III (and if possible Elden Ring) as Darkeater Midir, Gael, and/or Aldrich. You can also try beat Bloodborne as a boss, maybe. And upload Mohg first!
Been wanting to go back to DS3, might look into that Midir one - people have been requesting him for a while

Also... I have to ask. How do the movesets work? Is it like playing as Master Hand in Melee, and you press odd button commands? Like D-Pad Up and like... L1?
Edit: Radagon looks like a lot of fun to play as.... Seems oddly a thoughtful boss to play as. I mean, sure. The teleport is kind of busted. But he has a lot of really cool moves to dodge with. It looks like he would be satisfying to master.
