Red is actually a better anti bug light than amber is. So it's a good choice

I actually dont mind the red at all, and it is a better bug deterrent than amber its just harder to use as a functional light.

@@ozema87 both are great lights, Hard Korr offers 4 lights and different mounting options. Quality-wise I'd say they are comparable. ~ Ben
